Inspiration: Car Model and Model Car Science from the 60's had an advertisement for Testors ( i think) paint showing a gloss black 64 Galaxie with a reflection of a finger on the roof. Accomplishments to date: Opened and hinged doors and hood. Added door jamb and under hood detail. Roughed in the interior components from 91 Tbird. Modified 60 Ford Starliner floor boards and frame to fit. Roughed in dashboard fitment. Wheels and tires are Pegasus. Things to do: Build 4 link rear suspension, fabricate all the linkage for accurate posable steering. Figure out a motor to use. (suggestions are welcome.) I think it will be Ford Royal Blue metallic with a little finger mail polish pearl. The interior will be light blue I think.

Looks good so far. I saw another post of yours showing the frame and more interior details. All very nice.

Impressive build! Not a big rig builder but always appreciate seeing clean, well executed detailing and paint, no matter what the the subject matter is. Also, i picked up a few good tips along the way.

Here is how I am doing mine. I left the bottom portion of the door as is, and the fin as is. I slanted the B pillar of the door to match the angle of the rear window. I added a few millimeters to the rear window to line up to the slanted B pillar of the door.

Nicely done. I will have to try Molotov. Looks really good.

Hi Micheal. Thanks for the feedback. Just went to RBMotion's website and it looks like he is taking a break until next year. I would have picked up a few more sets of his shocks if I knew he was not going to be open for a while. Hope he comes back. His stuff is top notch.
