HI David, glad you like it. Sometimes simpler is better in terms of customization. The 40 Ford is one of my favorite cars as it is. I just needs a little more horsepower than the flat head offered.

Hey Bob.thanks for your feedback. I have a 57 Del Ray in progress somewhere so will be interested to see what you do with yours.

Thanks for the positive comments. I have been following your 442. The engine bay is absolutely stunning. (As is the rest of the model) I want to take it to an NNL in Grimes, Iowa on August 17. I should have it done by then.

Sorry you feel that way. I like everything you have done so far. I think the way you did the tail lights and front end add an elegance to the lines of the car. I like your choice of rims and tires. Not every car needs 22's. Hope to see more of it.

Rear end is done. Four link control arms built from stainless and aluminum tubing, coil overs are RB Motion. 9 inch rear end from an AMT Nascar Tbird. Tires are Jays Resin. Frame cross member is scratch built.

Thanx for the positive feedback. That front suspension is a bit delicate but seems to be pretty much in scale. I ended up cutting the plastic tabs off the a arms, driiling the pivot points out and pinning it all together so it would be a little stronger .
