Reality can be a hard pill to swallow to those dependent on continually regurgitated nonsense on the idiot box!

Not so much a irk but more of a disappointment. Now that I have the time to.. I was contemplating going up to the NNL East this weekend. My wife reminded me it would not be a good idea since I'm in the middle of settling my dad Estate and at this time I'm the only name on both properties and her and I haven't made a will of our own yet so if something happens to me it would be a major setback for all involved. Even though it's a bummer I still have two other shows to attend that are closer. Still disappointed and was looking forward to attending but there's always next years NNL East... God willing.

Yesterday some crazy nut on a crotch rocket come up the center line of the two lanes heading north I was traveling on. We were all moving at 55 mph, he had to be going close to 90 mph blowing by us like we were standing still. I watch the nut weave in and out of traffic and times passing on the narrow shoulder till he was out of sight. These are the kind of idiots give bike riders a bad name.

Hot is what I'm feeling since I got off my rump and have been mowing the grass so I decided to take a break and see who's saying what?

Again I find myself here making up nonsense sentences and being amused by others and their sentence content while I should be doing something more constructive.

I've never had to deal with woodpeckers although they are in the neighbors dead trees but I'd be thinking about stringing up some cheap foil pie pans throughout the tree to possibly deter it. Just a thought... Good luck with woody

It was pretty amusing to watch a Northern Flicker tear the heck out an ant colony in our backyard last summer. It moved frantically around the area flinging dirt then burying his beak deep within. It looked as if he/she hit the honey hole.

1960's DeLoreans will never be seen on any road, parking lot or anywhere else due to the fact of not being produced until 1981 by John DeLorean.

"Nerves of steel" is how little Leslie's mom described her son who appeared to be lost in the corn maze during his schools field trip.

That's pretty cool.. I live next to a historical farm Museum that has multiple events throughout the year. In the beginning of September the have the steam and small gas engine show. All week long at high noon all the steam whistle blow.. Very cool. I have a 1950 M series John Deere that I just inherited and have no use for so I'll probably look for a buyer at that show..
