  1. So, I have the Hasegawa Mooneyes VW bus, and Highlight Model Studio's Photo Etched Safari Windscreen. It didn't come with any instructions and I can't find any YouTube videos on them. Anyone out there has any experience with these Windscreen PE parts? Not sure if I'm supposed to cut out the molded Windscreen frame or not.... Thanks in advance..... ---Katsu
  2. Super cool work on the interior....love the custom fabricating.....and use of the squirrel. ?
  3. Fabricating spindles and wheel spacers. And printing a few decals.....Magazine Covers, Hawaii State Safety Check Stickers, and Air Cleaner decals.
  4. Chassis is coming together...... Oh, and after I glued the exhaust and rear end assembly onto the chassis is when I realized I forgot to sand the mold seams off the mufflers.....?
  5. Wow.....awesome progress on this build. That interior is beautiful.
  6. 18 inch staggered Rallie wheel and tire package by ZForce Model Worx. Plating is Molotow. Paint is Tropical Glitz.....
  7. Flashed and fresh outta the spray booth. Raw, naked and yet untouched Tropical Glitz paint. Even though I haven't color sanded it yet, the color and flakes pop. Can't wait to see her paint done. 20211105_114313.mp4
  8. And I agree with all of you, the middle spoon is the nicest and closest to the factory 1972 Olds color. I was actually favoring the spoon on the right....but in the end all of you were right. Tropical Glitz "Bahama Breeze" is about to get shot!
  9. I hear ya dude....I was the same way with my build. Always seeing more things I can do to it....LoL
  10. Staggered 18 inch Oldsmobile Rallies and tires (front wheel shown) printed by ZForce Model Worx. Don't ask me about the decals....I'm not saying. LoL
  11. Just thought I'd share this before the other door panel goes on..... Oh yeah, @Steve H I tried Elmer's White glue for the flocking on the door panels. It is a little better than the clear glue....
  12. Very nicely executed buddy......love the work you're doing on this simple "curbside kit" Really dig the direction she is going in, and am excited to see her finished‼️
  13. Puty, paint, box decals, photo etched parts, gel pen, and panel liner....
  14. WOW‼️ Beautiful work‼️ ???
  15. A little detail on the shifter ball with fine gel pens.....
  16. Thanks, but I can't take the credit for that idea....I remember seeing it being done by someone else online. ?
  17. Decided not to use the box stock Hurst Duel Gate shifter and installed a custom resin cast Hurst Quarter Stick shifter....just like what I put into my real Cutlass back in the day. ?
  18. Thanks ? Those are decals that come with the kit. I had to cut them into 2 pieces at the door seam because they were a little short. But the are very nicely printed for stock decals.
  19. Door panels...... The lower section still needs to be flocked. Thanks for looking ?
  20. I brush the clear Elmer's glue right out of the bottle without thinning it. A lot of people don't like the clear glue because they say it isn't as strong as white glue and obviously paint. For me, it's just personal preference.... I want to try the Elmer's white glue just to see if there really is a difference. Thanks for the great words of encouragement ?
  21. Finished the Oldsmobile Rocket 455. Now on to the interior.....paint and flocking the floor pan and rear deck. And in case you're wondering, yes I am still doing body work on the Hardtop conversion part of this build.....?
