Thank You. I already have plans for one or two more trucks. -

Awesome. The next time I strip the chrome from one of those trailers, I’ll be sure to put it in a purple power bath. Thank You. -

Thank You. Now after I glue on that top piece, to the trailer, it’ll be ready for paint. -

Here’s a mock up of the truck. I’m already thinking of my next International 4070A and tanker trailer. The next trailer, I’ll try to get an older issue that’s not chrome plated. -

Here’s the truck as it sits now. Now I’m just waiting on some parts and the trailer to be finished getting the chrome stripped. Making the ash tray look like a Terminator T800 eye. -

Thank You. Then I’m going to leave it out of my truck. Or fill it with transparent red and see what I could do with it. -

Great, Thank You. Then I’ll go ahead and leave it out of the truck. -

Awesome. Thank You. Now, would all three lines hook up to the trailer as well? How would they do that? -

I’m going to see about adding these Terminator T800 eyes to the truck and have everything in the sleeper area. The on/off switch will be hidden under the cab, so you’d only ba able to see it when the cab is tilted up. -

I found out it’s a cup holder insert. Thank You for those who helped -

Cool, Thank You. That’s what I’ve been thinking. I’ve thought about just leaving it out, just because of that idea, or possibility. -

If I was able to find one of those in 1/25 scale, or 3” tall, I would be putting one of them into the drivers seat of my truck. -

I’m working on the AMT International Transtar CO-4070A. -
Building my Project Terminator build, I have this part that I have no idea on what it is. Does anyone know what it is?

Here’s pictures of the interior sleeve to the interior being completed. I’m planing on painting around the windows black, both on the interior sleeve and on the inside of the cab. Here’s the sicker I’m going to be using on the back of the trailer, maybe front as well, not sure right now. I know I don’t have that round chrome piece on the console there, but since I don’t know what it’s for or supposed to be, I’m leaving it out. -

Thank You. The trailer is taking for ever to loose all of its chrome. I might get a container and purple power and soak those parts in that until the chrome is all gone. -
W925 Logger
Saltie Olds replied to Saltie Olds's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Here’s the R/C wheels and tires I’m thinking about going with. The wheels are 1.0” and the tires are 54 mm. This truck will be a combination of a W925 and a KW C500, with front drive axle. I like these a lot better than the ones from KFS. -

Once I’m able to have the KFS front axle, and all the wheels and tires I’m needing, I’ll be able to start building and posting. I’m also thinking about stretching the truck frame in order to put both the Alaskan Hauler and the W925 Watkins sleepers on the truck back to back. -

I’m debating between these tires or R/C off road truck tires with 1.0” wheels that’ll be between 50 mm and 54 mm. These are from KFS, I’m planning on getting their front axle to convert my truck here into a 6x6. I’m also going to need to stretch the trailers axle assembly with Evergreen or get a second logging trailer to stretch the one I already have. -
I have another question about this build. What is this part in the interior for? It’s #129 and goes on the arm rest thing in the interior.

Great, thank You. That Sunoco trailer looks like it has connections for two hookups only. The movie came out in ‘84, so would that be right? -

I got the axle assembly done, on the trailer. I found it fitting for the truck and trailer to have the trucks California plates. Being that the first Terminator movie is in L.A. California. When the time comes to post final pictures, I’ll be doing those in the Under Glass area under the same name here. I’ll be sure to post this last part on my last progress photos of this build.
