Those and wheels #4, are my favorite two styles.
-
Back on 7/24/21, my wife heard a kitten meowing outside our window. About 10 minutes later, she went out to look for it and she found a 2 month old kitten. Once she found the owner, he asked if we wanted her, because he was thinking of finding a new home, for the kitten, since she didn’t get along with his dogs. So we’ve had her since. Seeing how energetic she could be, I’ve been wanting to build a model car version of her. So I did this Tamiya Supra based on her.

Here’s the wheels I’m thinking about getting for this project. I can’t decide on a style I like best. The style that gets 5 likes or interests will be going on the car.Wheel #1Wheel #2Wheel #3Wheel #4Wheel #5Wheel #6

Here’s a couple pictures of the car just sitting on the wheels and tires and one of just the wheels and tires. Thinking about going with a different style of wheel though.
-
I just figured out what the main color is going to be, now to figure out the secondary color, probably will be black. I’m going to use the Left Hand Drive dash, from the Tamiya Supra, the black one I just did titled Project Shadow, and the tires from that same kit. I’m going to get a different set of wheels for the car as well. So it’ll be a while before I’m able to get the wheels, unless I could get a set of Revell Ferrari Testarossa wheels to work.
-
Or have all four of them in there. That would be one heck of a good timin party for sure.
-
Or it could be Cheech & Chong, in that car as well.

Thank You & Thank You. On 5/26, we had a small birthday party for her. She’s a year old. Theirs a fun story behind how we got her. I’ll be sure to tell in when I post in Under Glass.
-
Forgot to mention that I’m going to find a decal plate that says one of the years of this generation on the back of the car.
-
Now I just need to do is put the body onto the chassis and it’ll be done. Then I’ll wait for the cat to be calm enough to let me try to pose her with the car.
-
Here’s a picture of the cat that this build is based off of. When I get the car completed, I’ll be sure to get both the cat and the car together.
-
My eldest has a cat named Shadow. The cat is mostly black with some white on her chest and some on her belly, along with one white whisker, all of the other whiskers are black. I only got this car for the left hand drive, for another car I have. So I’m building this as a full curbside. The body is Testors Blazin Black and the glass is White Lightning. The chassis is kit molded black plastic.

Project Terminator

Thank You. I’m glad to hear about the eyes. I’m able to put my pinky finger in through the passenger window and push that button to turn the eyes on and off. I was wanting stickers of the eyes, to put there, and came across those eyes and decided to get them and make them work, while keeping everything for them as concealed as possible. -

Here’s the Terminator eyes lit up. I just took out a battery pack from a flashlight and held the wires to each end of that battery pack. -

Here’s the cab to the truck. In a couple days, I’ll mask it off and then paint the main color on it. This has been a really fun build. -

I’ve gotten more work done to the truck cab and cab sleeve. I got the cab and cab sleeve cut out, for those Terminator eyes. I got the bed glued back into the cab sleeve and everything is coming together just fine. The wires are going to be going through this hole on the cab floor and I’m putting a on/off switch here. It’s where the ash tray originally was. I got the visor from TruckerAL. -
