  1. I will be using this decal to make my own tailgate letter and putting them on the tailgate of the truck. Not only do I have to work on the interior, but I also have to finish building the front suspension, with the lift, that’ll allow extra ground clearance up front.
  2. I’ve been thinking about putting on the decals to see how much I like them and if I choose to use them, while I’m building the rest of the truck, then I’ll clear it. Then if I choose not to use them, I’ll soak the parts in water until they all come off.
  3. I agree. I’m thinking I’m only going to use the Baja decals for it.
  4. Those of you that are following, should I use these decals or not?
  5. Thinking about using these decals on this truck build of mine. for those who are following along, what do you think of these decals?
  6. I got more done with my truck. I’ve always loved S10’s in a deep red color, so that’s what color I’m going with on this build. It’s Tamiya Clear Red over black metallic. I did a spring over conversion with the rear, now to work on lifting the front, to give it the extra ground clearance. The Vortec parts are from the AMT GMC Sonoma kit as well.
  7. I wasn’t happy with how the first set of cut out fender flares turned out. So I found a spare cab and bed sides, and chose to start over. I’m liking the way these turned out much better. This build won’t be using my Chevy Baja decals, but I might change my mind and use them any way. We shall see.
  8. Thank You. Glad you either like it or love it. It was a blast building it.
  9. I got the fenders and fender flares done.
  10. I’ve started working on my S10 Baja project. Just keep a look out in WIP for pickup trucks.
  11. Here’s what I’ve gotten done on the cab so far. I’m doing my own custom cut out fender flares and I’ll be building a suspension lift for this truck as well. The rear lift will be the easy part, the front will be a different story.
  12. I started working on this yesterday, but ran out of the white I was using. Now I’m going to do some body work and repaint it.
  13. Here’s my AMT Foxt Box that I built as my version of the Mystery Machine.
  14. I have this project done now. In the Under Glass section, you’ll be able to look at it under the name:; Off Road Mystery Machine.
  15. Here’s the last photos of this project, before I post this to the Under Glass section. When I do that, I’ll be sure to post her first, then there.
  16. Here’s where I’m at on this project. When I put it in Under Glass, I’ll be naming it Off Road Mystery Machine.
  17. Thank You & Cool. I’ve been having a lot of fun with this build. I’m glad you’re enjoying the build.
  18. This is the hood and grille I got from him. I cut the doors to be for doors meant for a ‘74.
  19. I used a old soft was cloth and painted it blue, to resemble shag carpeting.
  20. Got the green done. Tomorrow, I should be able to finish painting it and start clear coating it.
  21. Thank You for the idea for my next model project. I have the decals for one of these. I’m going to be doing a scale 3” lift on mine with either 31’s or do cut outs and do 35’s. Ray’s Kits has the decals, and where I got mine. I’ll be calling my project S10 Baja.
  22. Awesome. I’ll check into that. I’m also going to check into Faux Fur Yarn as well.
