  1. The truck is done. You’ll be able to see it in the Under Glass.
  2. The truck’s almost done. All I have to do is add a few more parts and a little more detail painting, then it’ll be be done.
  3. Here’s the truck with the glass, interior and bed floor in.
  4. I added three decals and just did the clear coat on it. The paint job reminds me of what Hot Wheels would’ve done on some of their cars and trucks.
  5. That’s a nice sharp lookin rig you did. I like it.
  6. The silver color is part of the paint scheme. It was the base color for the clear orange and clear red. Thank You.

  8. Here’s the painted body of the truck. It’s a lot more colorful then what it was going to be.
  9. So, here’s what the grille’s looking like so far.
  10. I’m going to be combining all three of these three grilles to make the one I’m wanting. Going to be using the headlights from the ‘88/‘89 grille and the grille insert piece, from the AMT GMC 3500 street machine.
  11. Now that I have the engine in, I could start working on the exhaust system.
  12. Got one of the big stripes done today. It’s Tamiya Clear Orange over Testors Chrysler Bright Platinum Metallic. The other big stripe will be Tamiya Clear Red on top of the clear orange. The rockers are going to be Tamiya Orange Metallic over black and the main color will be Testors Turquoise.

  14. Thank You. I’m going to be masking and painting my own graphics on the truck as well. With the body work done, now I need to turn my attention to the grille and the interior.

  17. What’s that tonneau cover from? Or did you make it yourself?
  18. I knew someone that would also use the caps from spray cans to tub out the rear of models. Sorry, I can’t get any details from him on any of his tricks about building models. He passed away about 10 years ago.
  19. Red one was the 3500 and the black one was the 2500. I just need to figure out how I’m going to do the chassis.
