  1. That’s Awesome Lookin. I really like it. I wish I could find one of those as a 1/25 scale diecast, but at least I’m going to have fun building mine.
  2. I’m wanting that Ford Ramp Truck and modify it to be able to haul two cars, maybe both of them on the truck or one on a trailer, not sure. I’m going to be putting on a ‘69 grille on mine and paint it to match a pair of Revell ‘69 Shelby GT500’s that I have.
  3. As much as I like the original Dodge Power Wagon’s, I like the Dodge WC-54 Ambulance. I’m going to keep the winch and front bumper on this one. I’m also going to be keeping the wheelbase and overall length the same as well. Depending on how many people enjoy this build and requests I get to have a post of the other one I have, I’ll post my ‘57 Black Widow Team, as I build it. Yes, I have two of these. Here’s also a picture of both trucks side by side. The one that says WIX is the one I’ve had for 20+ years and the other one, I’ve had for only a couple years.
  4. Here’s the interior tub so far. Now I have to modify the brake pedal to make it narrower. I’m going to put in a clutch pedal and the stick shift from a AMT Chevy truck kit. I’m not going to worry about doing Mitch with the tranny that’s molded into the chassis. Here’s where I’m at with the seat. I’m going to be cutting out the center section and giving it bucket seats with either a scratch built console or maybe put in a custom one, from a AMT Chevy kit.
  5. Here’s the truck now that I’ve gotten the two cab pieces glued together and filled in what I could with plastic. Now to use putty and keep going.
  6. Thank You. The cab’s ready for putty now.
  7. Thank You. Thank You for pointing that out to me, because I never thought about that.
  8. I’m currently working on this and will be stretching the kit frame to match the cab. I’m also going to be stretching the interior tub as well.
  9. Looks Great. I Really Like It.
  10. I’ve had parts for this one for a very long time and for a very long time, I haven’t been comfortable working on it. So, here I go. I’m going to very carefully stretch the chassis the same .800” as I’m doing with the cab and will do with the interior. I’m going to paint it black metallic and dark chestnut.
  11. Thank You. Once I’m able to get the AMT Escalade EXT, I’ll build my other one.
  12. Thank You. I hope you enjoyed the build. I could see it being a show truck from the ‘90s. It does have that Hot Wheels paint scheme going on with it as well.
  13. I have that one from RMR and going to build it sitting on just enough lift to clear So Real Concepts 44” Boggers.
  14. Cool Truck. Thank You For Serving.
  15. Here’s a couple pictures of my Ertl WIX Power Wagon. I removed the WIX logos off the doors and just put on those oversized tires. Im going to take it apart and rebuild it painting it black and white, like my Revell ‘57 Black Widow and Revell ‘57 For Custom. The cars are going to be painted black and white without any numbers or racing sponsor decals, just off the dealer lot. I might give the truck a small lift in order to put on some bigger tires. I’m going to either put in a Dodge 360 V8 or the inter-cooled Cummins 5.9.
  16. Thank You for all the ideas you gave me, for when I take mine apart and rebuild it. Those tires I have on it are on the small size of what I might use, I’m thinking about giving mine a small lift and bigger tires.
  17. Thank You & Cool. I have one more that I’m planning on building, but I’m going to have to wait to the the new issue of the AMT 2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT, in order to convert it into a 4x4.
  18. This is the WIX one, that I have. I’m planning on rebuilding it to go with a 44’, going to be stretching a Galaxie 38’ fifth wheel, to go with it and a ‘57 Chevy Black Widow and a ‘57 Ford Custom and have a Black Widow team. Im not going to have any racing numbers or Spencer’s on anything. I’ve been debating on if I want to post anything of my Black Widow team or not. Might do just the truck, but not sure.
  19. Thank You. Both of them are 2wd’s. I just lifted the taller one.
  20. The white one is almost completely built box stock. It has a matching spare wheel and tire and the grille is from a ‘89 Chevy pickup. I built it as a standard very few option Cheyenne or Silverado. The other one is after someone would build the truck as a custom lifted 454SS.
  21. I got this part of the build done now. Now if you want to see it with Part 1 Of 2, I’ll post that one titled Before & After.
