  1. Now I’m wanting to get another one of these and build it how I’ve been wanting to build one, for a very long time.
  2. Now I’m really wanting to get my hands on another one of these GMC Syclone kits. Then build it how I did one 20 years ago, or so.
  3. That’s Awesome Lookin. I Really Like It. I’d like to get another one of the AMT stepside kits, the ‘90, and turn it into a custome 454SS.
  4. Here’s my project S10 BAJA. Having a blast with this one.
  5. Here’s the rockers of the cab and bottom of the bed sides. I used Rustolium Truck Bed Coating, spray can, before I used the black and red paints.
  6. Here’s the main bed piece completed and the tailgate almost complete. The tailgate will be done after I have the letters C H E V R O L E T made and glued on.
  7. Is he here on MCM as well? I’m going to have to reach him through eBay, if not and see about getting a couple trucks ordered.
  8. Awesome. Thank You. I’ll try to find him on eBay.
  9. Thank You. I used Dupli Color Universal Black Metallic and Tamiya TS-74 Clear Red. I took those pictures right after I did the clear, and it still looks wet.
  10. Here’s some pictures of my project so far. It’s hard to get the lighting just right in order to see the metallic in the metallic black I used for the base coat and then the Tamiya Clear Red on top of that. Once I’m happy with the sine of the clear, I’ll finish up all the detail painting on the truck and get the bed glued together.
  11. Ok, Thank You. Maybe it was Accu Pro. I got rid of my Facebook account two years ago. I do have all of the parts needed to build my own club cab, but still keeping half an eye out for a resin one. I’d love to get my hands on a ‘81 to ‘85 Dodge Ram crew cab long box to build up. But I’m thinking I might have to get two of the ‘78 AMT/MPC Dodge trucks and go from there.
  12. Didn’t you also do a club cab conversion for the ‘95-‘97 Dodge Rams that AMT did as the Snap Fast Plus? I’d love to find a club cab cab, interior, and chassis. I’m wanting to do a model of a ‘97 Ram Club Cab 3500.
  13. This rig is looking good. I’m liking it and can’t wait until i get to see the finished product.
  14. I have the rear suspension lift done and I have been slowly working on the front suspension. Now after I get the engine painted and in, I’ll be able to get the front end glued in, after it’s painted as well. Then after all of that, I’ll be able to work on the lower control arms, to work with the lift as well. Then I’ll have to figure out how to do all the shocks on this rig. So far, it’s been a fun build.
  15. Thank You. It already has a lift on it, but I would need more lift to get those other tires to look right on the truck. I don’t like S10’s like that lifted more that 3” anyway. 3” is about how much I’m lifting the truck anyway.
  16. Thank You. I agree with you on the tires. I don’t want to do a solid front axle conversion to make it so that it wold work with those bigger mud tires. Plus that, I think they look better on a full size truck.
  17. Here’s a picture of the truck, with the BFG All Terrains, that I’m wanting to use. And one with the T14 tires from Scenes Unlimited. I chose to remove the decals.
  18. Here’s what the rear of the truck looks like, with the BFG’s I’m wanting to use and the second picture is sitting on a set of 37’s from Scenes Unlimited.
  19. I’m thinking that I agree with you, that the decals are too bright to go with the dark red. I’m glad I haven’t cleared the body yet. I’m able to soak the body in water, until the decals come off.
  20. Here’s a couple of better pictures of the decals on the truck.
  21. Here’s a picture of what the tires. Just taller BFG All Terrains. So that I could clear these tires. I’ve thought about going bigger, but I don’t think they would work with the overall theme of the build.
  22. I do and I don’t like the decals on the truck. What do the followers of this post think?
