  1. I’m trying to figure out what to do for a load on the back of this truck. I’ve also thought about using my W925 Logger to go with it. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
  2. I like your idea. Thank You
  3. I’ve been thinking about how I’m going to pull it off. One idea I got was to use a giant Easter egg toy and use it to make the front and the rear part of the truck.
  4. Here’s a quick mock up of this build. When I started this build, I never really had a game plan for this build or how I wanted the end project to look. I’m just building it and figuring how I want things to look as I build.
  5. Awesome. Thank You, to both of you. I’m going to be a bit different and go with the Cummins. I’m thinking I’ll use the one from that Freightliner kit, or a AMT Kenworth Kit, or go a bit more modern and do the Cummins 5.9 6BT intercooled engine.
  6. I have the chassis done and the engine in. Now I just need to figure out how I’m going to do the drive shafts between the tranny and the front rear axle.
  7. Ok, Thank You. That Freightliner has a Cummins?
  8. Cool. I like that idea. I’ve also thought about just mounting the engine backwards, flipping the front drive axle around, and use the driveshaft, that goes between the two rear axles, to go from the tranny and the rear end. I’m thinking about using a Cummins of some sort or a Cat. Now to figure out what truck to use, for the engine and chassis.
  9. Thank You. I like your idea about building it as a curbside. I haven’t had much luck finding 1/25 scale rear engine bus kits.
  10. I’ve been interested in doing a model of one of these. I’d like to know how I’d be able to convert a semi truck to be a rear engine rear drive truck. So then I could build this cool and cute truck. Thank You Everyone.
  11. Here’s what I’ve gotten done on my truck so far and a mock up of it. The next pictures I post of it will be with the completed drive train, but not sure if I’ll have the engine in or not.
  12. Yah, that would have made it a lot easier, or if I had a third W900 Aerodyne cab. Thank You. I’m having a lot of fun with this one, as well.
  13. I found out I had to stretch the floor pan as well. I got don’t sanding and smoothing everything out. I’m liking how everything is turning out so far. I have this chassis on the trailer, just to give an idea on how long it is.
  14. I just measured the sleeper on this truck. It’s 4.535” long. That translates to 113.375”. I’m thinking that I’ll just say that it has a 112” sleeper. Or maybe a 112” or 113” studio sleeper, not sure right now. I do know that the chassis to this truck is about 18” long or so.
  15. Yep, that it is. I’ll have to measure it to find out how long it is, I’m guessing it’s about a 120” sleeper. This one is also a really fun build. I got one idea on building it, because of wanting to know what the Papa/Hideout trucks would look like as a conventional and the sleeper idea for another build I’m wanting to do. I’m wanting to do the first generation ‘87 to whenever was built of the KW T800.
  16. Thank You. This entire project has been a lot of fun to build.
  17. Thank You. Will Do. I’m planing on doing a two tone paint job with it as well.
  18. Today I decided to add the stacks, spare, and pogo stick.
