  1. That Spider Stingray is delightfully awful.
  2. Maybe the 1/32 scale one can entice you more?
  3. Never mind the new ones, get a load of this:
  4. My fav are those '59 Plymouthesque fins on the lilac car with the Vicky top. Generally I find it amazing how well the basic styling of these cars has aged.
  5. Although Ertl/AMT scores pretty high, they weren't the only ones.
  6. I'm not talking about box art blunders. What I mean is the atrocious box art from the dark ages of the hobby, when you didn't buy a kit just because the box was so ugly.
  7. Jo-Han also used a 'rhine-esque' setting for one of their Mercedes kits while the other one was pictured in a swamp.
  8. Nothing wrong with 60s furniture. Even better if it's brown.
  9. There are still surprisingly many 435s left in public service. As has been mentioned earlier, the initial investment is high, but they can last for ages. All municipal vehicles in Germany are painted RAL 2011 Kommunalorange.
  10. A military version was available. There were also UN, Paris-Dakar, THW (German civil defence) and fire brigade versions. I guess you can build either from the upcoming kit.
  11. Upscale? They are common as muck in Germany.
  12. What did those skirts, fins and rear custom piece look like?
  13. A bit like combing a sparrow, innitt?
  14. All Mopars became unibody for 1960, except the Imperials, which proudly remained body-on-frame until 1966.
  15. Had an Aaron Draplin moment at Telford and bought this just for the box art.
  16. One of the Mopars Moebius should make, yes, i.e. the 300F and G. Besides being a unibody, the '60 Adventurer is a DeSoto, not a Dodge. [/anorak mode]
  17. I was referring to a company not having a website.
  18. You should build a hearse. Gloss black is merciless.
  19. Ooooh, thank you so much! That's exactly the kind of motivation boost I need in this dire moment.
  20. Aaaargh, it's driving me nuts! I mocked it up for an OMGSTANZ check: It's the Revell Snapper fitted with Revell '63 Corvette Snapper wheels. You cannot possibly imagine how much work went into it to get the stance the way it is now. Note that it has an ever so slight gentleman's rake and it is lowered exactly so that there is still a bit of rubber visible between the rim and the front wheelarch.
