  1. I've had this since it was new, in December 2003. Black on black, six speed manual, and dead stock, except for the HKS wheels, and larger BFG tires 58K. I have the model, but haven't started it.
  2. After blowing up 3 Northstar motors in a year in the blue Concours ( I only paid for the 1st one), I went and found a regular white DeVille, with the (regular) pushrod motor, and moved all the premium stuff from the blue car to the white one. Seats, door panels, wheels, tires, dual exhaust. Cut a sunroof into it and shaved the emblems. Those are Budnik Arrowhead rims, custom ordered for the 1st car. The 1/25 is a 3D printed body with parts box everything else.
  3. Bought cheap from a high school buddy (RIP) somewhere around my 40th birthday, in 1996. It ran well but was hurtin' everywhere else. New springs, shocks, chassis bushings, brakes, master cylinder, wheels, tires, exhaust system, headlight bezels, grille, taillights, hood, (GN)seats and carpet. Rebuilt the trans, installed a shift kit. Changed the chip, (Turbo Trans Am) regulator, 160 degree thermostat, gutted the catalytic converter, and installed a K&N 'cone' air filter in place of the stock setup. It had 89K when I got it, now has 137K on the original motor and turbo. It's been on many road trips, mainly NYC to Atlanta. Fast, fun and reliable. A V6 that makes 425 HP and gets 10 mpg, but it makes me smile.
  4. Bought this to be my retirement project. Have been sidetracked many times. Been under construction for 10 years. I'm not a rich guy. Has a 350 small block, with a 400 small block crank = 383 cubic inches. Born a stick, was an automatic when I got it. I fixed that, now has a Muncie M20 and 3.42s. In the process of reinstalling the factory AC that it came with. Runs well, needs door panels, headliner, some Dynamat and some (dash)wiring.
  5. Purchased from a friend in 1988 for $30. Originally a 273, column shift auto car. Now has a 440, stroked to 494, a 4 speed, 3.55s and working factory AC. Radio delete, manual steering and brakes. 440 HP, 580 torque. My OCD has me make 1/25th scale replicas of all my cars, and every car I've ever had, and a few of my friends cars, too.
  6. I'm Daryl, 66 years old, from Hollis Queens NYC. I build strictly 1/25th scale. Like musclecars from the early 60s to the early 70s, and 2nd generation (70-81) Camaros. Most are modified street machines, with some pro street, pro touring and an occasional door slammer drag car. I build real cars, also.
