As Bob says above, Tournament of Thrills really existed. The AMT kits are standard kits with the ramps and decals added. Collectible? Yes, but not obscenely rare. Yet. I missed the trailer in original box in Toledo due to $$ shortage.

Here's the deal. IF I go...... it'll be a super low budget trip. NO BUYING ANYTHING !!! I've shored up a shared ride for a Saturday day trip. = gas $ Admission, 50/50, raffle, lunch/dinner money, fresh batteries for the camera. That's it. NO overnight(s) at The Red Roof. NO BUYING ANYTHING !!! HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GO TO THE TOLEDO NNL NATIONALS AND NOT BUY ANYTHING ?!?!?!?!

George, Vending ain't what it used to be at Maumee. I haven't seen pushy crowds for a number of years now.... Anyway, wait until 2pm then go right in to the NNL room only. It's a seperate building.

Looking pretty grim for me this year as well. Had to put almost $400 into vehicle repairs this past weekend. I hope Jim's Restaurant and Bench Race Emporium does delivery to Canada.......

I may or may not have heard that a certain Chicago-area company may or may not be looking for a BONE STOCK 90/91 Mustang LX notchback for measurements. This company may or may not ALSO be looking at a 38 grill, etc. to maybe retool a certain 37 Ford truck and may or may not already have a Ranchero retool in the works. I dunno nothing about a Buick or Olds (or do I ??).

I'm afraid it'll be LESS Canadian this year. Ken and Paul will NOT be with me this year.
