On long stripe decals, once positioned, I will make a cut with a new blade along door lines and "tuck" those in the seams. It seems to help lessen the tension along the stripe and looks more realistic to me. -
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I knew that coil did not look right. Oops. Sometimes my lack of mechanical knowledge, especially with engines, really shines! I started out trying to drill out the kit dash, but it got ugly quick. So, plan B. I always appreciate any insights. Thanks Andy. *I was wondering how they handled the rearview, now I see.

I don't keep very good track of the vendors I use. If not Ebay, it was Ted's ...something. They are nicely textured and a shiny rim. I like 'em.

I'd have to agree on the bumper shape.

I started the harness. I had to make my own straps from med. tape. The Gopher ribbon was not wide enough for the buckles. I'm liking the dashboard.

I know you all are waiting to see how this is going to play out. So here is where I'm landing with the seatbelts. I created my own straps from medical tape and blue paint. I think they look good. I had trouble judging the lengths between buckles. I cut holes in the seat sides for a pas-thru. I don't know if I want to shoe the lap belts bolted (cage or floor?) or just tuck them under the seat. Also, what to do with the little pics on plain paper? White glue? -
Kit purchasing questions.

I have yet to build any funny cars, but I will. Yes, I was curious to know if Jo-han kits in general were notably any "better" than the bigger brands.
