170°?

Is it savable? I clamp it and put it in the dehydrator, how hot can I set it before the paint melts?

Rookie Mistake! So, I was not happy with the top coat after some sanding. I went to give it another shot, put the body on my trusty Tamiya spring stand, gave the body another coat, and left it to dry...outside...in the sun...for a few hours. Coverage and finish is way better...BUT, Warp Factor 10!!

Is it fixed? It wasn't me.

My mistake. Hmm, how to fix it?

Thanks, I was wondering. I thought it was AC sumptin. I do research photos and glean what I can. I was mostly commenting on how model car kits always have the alternator and such floating in air. I'm no mechanic, but even as a kid I knew those belts had tension on them so they couldn't just hang there.

Bent out of the box. I thought I might heat it up and slowly move it into place. I don't have a heat gun. I should have tried the hair dryer...not the BIC lighter. I broke down and bought a new kit, just for the body, so I could keep going. I know most of us don't want to think about the final tally some kits can rack up without even trying. "But honey, it could be new golf clubs."

Fantastic looking build. I'm with the other who say, what a clean look and the photos are the icing on top. I only wish there were more pics of the interior. I bet it's fab as well.

Or, if I'm using more than one can...am I overdoing it? -

New Question: "Should" a 100ml spray paint can be enough for "normal" 1/25 scale car model (single color, full body)? I know there a lot of variables, like # of coats and such, but rule of thumb, one can should cover it? Or, should I usually count on buying two cans when planning the color for a new kit? Thoughts? *Yes, I need an airbrush. -
I appreciate that, thanks.
