  1. See I get where you're coming from, I'm 17, yet I never touched my first video game console til i was 11. (And I still don't really play it) I spent most of my childhood playing with legos and diecast cars, until I got introduced to modeling when I was 10. Once I built my first kit, I was hooked. I never went back to playing legos again, because in my mind, why build a lego car that may resemble a dodge charger when you could paint, glue, and build a real one in 1/25 scale! Here recently I got a couple friends (Both lego/video game freaks) to build a model. They each built one and complained about how long it took. It took each of them 3 days to make their model. (they pretty much built them with the fast forward button pressed.) After they built their model cars, I tried to tell them about other types of kits, (gundum, planes, ships, etc... Because they both didn't really care for cars, but thats the only type of kit I had to give them to build) all they said was "Eh, I'd rather play my PC." I just don't get it.😔
  2. Just come across this forum, wow the cars are gorgeous! Do you remember who you got the flag decal from? I'm looking to build the same kit and am looking for a flag decal like the one on your General.
  3. I just recently discovered a band called trouble, they have an album called psalm 9. It is amazing! The following song is the first song on their album called Psalm 9.
  4. A Buncha 60s, 70s, fords, chevys, and mopars.
  5. Still looking for one!
  6. Thanks for the info! I figured it was a built up to be a race car based on the incorrect wheel well shape on the fenders. I gotta lot of work to do in order to have the kit be the way I anticipate building it.
  7. What are you interested in trading for? I have a bunch of vintage kits, muscle cars, trucks, etc...
  8. Oh yeah she's gonna look good!
  9. Looking to start building one but don't wanna pay 150 bucks for it, I'm willing to trade multiple kits for the one. Thanks!
  10. Wow the attention to detail is crazy! I wish I had the patience to build something like this!
  11. Nice! Love the gray!
  12. You nailed the ride height on that challenger. Great build!
  13. Thanks for the the tips! I sanded all the acrylic paint off the dash, went to the hobby store and bought the Lacquer color to spray instead of the acrylic. I just don't get super good finishes with Tamiya Acrylics. They're lacquer is great though.
  14. Very nice! Those headlamps look real!
  15. I was painting the dash of a Monogram 93' mustang I'm building with Tamiya grey acrylic, I was wondering if I could clear over the acrylic paint with Tamiya semi-gloss lacquer paint. Has anybody tried this before? Thanks
  16. I just stumbled upon this build and wow! The amount of detail is amazing! You're doing a fantastic job on Eleanor!
  17. YESS!!! I was hoping someone would spot the connection! That’s the only game I like playing on my wife’s Xbox…there’s actually a bunch of cars on there that I’d like on my shelf! Mine’s not a replica, but definitely VERY heavily influenced anyway…. Dude that's one of my favorite games to play! I want to build the '67 Chevelle in that game.
  18. This build is so cool! The paint scheme reminds me of the '67 mustang in Wreckfest:
  19. Nice find man! Hold on to that baby, they're only going up in value (Especially since its a pace car). My Uncle has the GT version (It's an '82) that's been sitting under a car port in his backyard for 20 years. If I can get him to sell it one of these days maybe we could run 'em. 😁
  20. I've bought a few of these in the past. I used to find them at Sam's before Costco got 'em. Unfortunately my youngest sister decided to play demolition derby with them so they're no more. 😪
  21. Born, raised, and currently building in the great state of Tennessee (Go Vols!)
