Wow it looks fabulous!

That weathering is awesome, my OBS F150 is the same color and has the exact same type of paint fade. Very nice job.

One of the most fun kits I've ever built was this 88' mustang GT convertible, I wanted to make it a factory stock car but I ruined the white paint job. So out came the rust paints and powders. Sorry the pics kinda suck: -

I work at my local AutoZone here in TN and the other day a lady came in asking for some oil, she said it was for an oil change. I think it was for like a '17 Malibu or something. I showed here where our oil was, told her what kind of oil she needed and how much she needed for an oil change, and went back to the counter. 5 or 10 minutes later she came up to the counter, bought 5qts of whatever kind of oil she needed, and walked out the door. A few minutes later I had to walk out the door to read a check-engine light, and that same lady was dumping the whole 5qt jug of oil in her motor. After reading the light, I ran up to her and told her she had to drain the old oil out before she put the new in. She told me that she drained the oil out of her car before she drove to our AutoZone. She also said that she lived 45 minutes from our store. I just walked away, I couldn't bring myself to tell her that she probably fried her bearings. 🤦♂️

Gibson or Fender? Which do you prefer?

Gotcha, I feel the same way about Fenders, I've played several, just could never get into how they sound. -

Great craftsmanship Francis! If you didn't have the dime next to the control arms I would've thought they were real! -
Yeah thats the problem, it's a surprise for him. While I was in school I'd just wait til' he'd start talking about his Camaro, and then ask questions about it. Thats how I found the paint code, he had me write the code down on a piece of paper while he was talking to the paint guy on the phone. When he wasn't looking, I wrote the code down on my own piece of paper. But we're on Christmas break so I can't secretly get information about the car anymore. Oh yeah I spent plenty of time measuring clearence on the Roll pan before I glued it in.

I know! Thats what I told my instructor when he told me the color combo. The only problem I'm having is if he's painting the stripes like a normal Camaro, where the stripes are on the hood and trunk: Or if he's gonna do 'em like the stripes on a newer Camaro, with the stripes going on the roof:

Yup you would be correct
