  1. You are an ambitious modeler! Welcome to the forum. Like you I'm getting ready to retire too and decided to reenter the hobby. Also like you Fords are my favorite but I'll build anything I like and that's a wide spectrum.
  2. Welcome to the forum. You've got some nice stuff there.
  3. Welcome Joe, I'm a new member myself and I think you'll like it here.
  4. Welcome. Your models are very impressive.?
  5. Welcome and I look forward to seeing your work.
  6. I remember seeing those for sale in car magazines back in the 60s. I guess they were kind of dangerous and then outlawed.
  7. Two kits that were originally released as promos and annuals (and I don't think have been seen since) are a 58 Ford Fairlane and a 59 Plymouth Fury. I think there would be tremendous demand for both as the old ones in any kind of rebuildable or nice condition bring very good money on eBay. Two others in that same category would be the 59 Buick and a 59 Dodge Coronet. My preference would be the 2 door hardtop for all mentioned.
  8. Monogram 32 Ford street rod still sealed in box. I'd be interested in 70 and older Fords, Mopars, Olds, Pontiacs, Buicks and certain Chevys. I'm a newb here so we'll deal accordingly for your security. Thanks for looking
  9. Thanks for the warm welcomes, group.
  10. Are your engines complete and what are the induction set-ups? I may have two complete chrome Ford 427s If those would be of any interest to you. These are from 2 AMT 63 Ford Galaxie kits I have. I'll dig them out and check on it pending your response.
  11. 2 to trade - An AMT 57 T-bird. No box but parts are sealed in packages. Monogram 32 Ford street rod still sealed in box. I'd be interested in 70 and older Fords, Mopars, Olds, Pontiac, Buick and certain Chevys. I'm a newb here so we'll deal accordingly for your security. I'll get pictures up tomorrow Thanks for looking
  12. Although you can find this regularly on Ebay, I've not ever seen one nicer than this. It's literally flawless. Came with box that's also in good shape for its age. The second one is a 62 Fairlane which I found in a local hobby shop very reasonably. It's a built annual which I'll be rebuilding to replicate my very first car, a red and white 62 Fairlane Sports Coupe.
  13. Superb build and great detail. I've got this kit and will be building it at some point.
  14. Built many model cars as a boy and at various times since, but none in quite awhile. Getting ready to retire and want something to do besides the endless honey-do list. ? I've bought about 15 or so kits and just got done putting together a display cabinet to fill with them. Looking forward to some great ideas I know I'll find here and meeting other modelers.
