  1. Yes but that would be a T as I'm sure you know. I built stock Ts for my dad in all the versions AMT had many years ago.
  2. Those are the ones. So far my searches have not turned any up. If you run across them again could you message me and let me know? As far as the 58, they're out there but makers make them and then they don't. I even had one once about 15 years ago. There's one on Ebay right now but it doesn't look so good in the pictures. Plus I've seen mixed reviews about the maker re/ quality. The quest continues. Thanks for your reply.
  3. Do you know if the scoop is incorporated into the hood on the Cougar or is there a flat hood option? Is there a chance you make full stock wheel covers for a 67 Mustang? I'm also looking for a 58 Ford conversion kit to use with the AMT 57.
  4. I wish they'd offer a New Yorker version of the 57 Chrysler. I've just never liked the 300 front end in the 57-59 body.
  5. Welcome and I understand it's tough to lose your dad. My dad wasn't a modeler but he helped me build my first one because he always supported my interests. God bless them both in Heaven.
  6. Welcome friend. Better late than never!
  7. Welcome back to the relaxing fun of modeling.
  8. Welcome back from this old newbie. Ain't dirt racing fun? I did it myself years ago with a Torino I built. I miss it. But modeling's fun too and gets your mind off the real world for awhile.
  9. Welcome aboard and rest assured you can find people to discuss any model related topic you can think of, and some you can't!
  10. Welcome from another new member who was fortunate to live near Hickory for 24 years. I miss NC, greatest place in the world.
  11. Welcome from another modeler recently returning to the hobby.👍
  12. I bought a 62 Fairlane a few weeks ago which has a chrome air cleaner and exhaust manifolds, So is it a promo or a kit?
  13. As someone who has worked on a multitude of 3406 cats, that's pretty amazing.
  14. This is a model I'd love to have but not nearly this much... https://www.ebay.com/itm/145249763024
  15. I was considering pulling the trigger on a couple of Vic's body kits. Guess I'll keep shopping. Like you I'm also looking for a 58 Fairlane. If anyone knows where I kind find the 58 body and related to use with the AMT 57 Ford kit, please let me know. Also looking for a 59 Plymouth Fury that could be built using the Christine or similar kit. Thanks.
  16. You are an ambitious modeler! Welcome to the forum. Like you I'm getting ready to retire too and decided to reenter the hobby. Also like you Fords are my favorite but I'll build anything I like and that's a wide spectrum.
  17. Welcome to the forum. You've got some nice stuff there.
  18. Welcome Joe, I'm a new member myself and I think you'll like it here.
  19. Welcome. Your models are very impressive.👍
  20. Welcome and I look forward to seeing your work.
  21. I remember seeing those for sale in car magazines back in the 60s. I guess they were kind of dangerous and then outlawed.
  22. Two kits that were originally released as promos and annuals (and I don't think have been seen since) are a 58 Ford Fairlane and a 59 Plymouth Fury. I think there would be tremendous demand for both as the old ones in any kind of rebuildable or nice condition bring very good money on eBay. Two others in that same category would be the 59 Buick and a 59 Dodge Coronet. My preference would be the 2 door hardtop for all mentioned.
  23. Monogram 32 Ford street rod still sealed in box. I'd be interested in 70 and older Fords, Mopars, Olds, Pontiacs, Buicks and certain Chevys. I'm a newb here so we'll deal accordingly for your security. Thanks for looking
