Sound thinking looking it up but you would find it easier if you just look down.

Mark, just to let you know that kit has issues fitting together. There is not enough clearance for the interior to fit up into the body. I built this kit and actually had to flush fit the quarter windows for everything to go together. It's not you, it's just the kit. I had others tell me the same thing. Sometimes it helps to look at other builds of the kit you are working on to see what problems may arise.

I think she was hoping more for an "Artie Shaw" vibe. I did Orange once, this is the only part of the car left.

I guess people who build '41 Plymouth's attract a certain crowd.😮

Yes, I had seen that. I found an Art Morrison frame in an AMT 39 Chevy kit which will have to be heavily modified for the Ford. So that's my starting point. Good info on the front spindles. I'll let you know if I need any more chassis shots once I get into it. Thanks again.

New body is starting to take shape. Added some .030 half round to the perimeter of the roof to represent the vinyl top trim. Also needed to add a piece to the "A" pillar as Ford has the very center of the "A" pillar painted body color between two stainless moldings. Also ran two strips of .020 square stock down the roof for the seam of the vinyl top. You will also note the "C" pillar emblem is now a thing of the past. Also working on the chassis to fit wider meats inside the fenders. Cut the original wheel wells off and shifted them inwards about the width of the frame rails. Added material back on the outer edge of the wheel wells and have some cleaning up yet to do. Also have to 'z' the rail in the rear to make it continuous. And now we have this fat tire tucked in place. Might make something out of this piece of junk yet. 😁

Gee Bil, does that mean I can't hang out with the likes of you anymore😬

Bob, appreciate you checking in on this. I like the look of those wheels, I have something similar I'm using on a T-Bird build. Those pics will be a big help, especially the chassis as that's where I'm hung up now. Cheers!

Blind Melon had a song "No Rain" which I would be OK with right now as it is raining cats and dogs, big ones.
