  2. Hey Im looking at getting into airbrushing but at a low cost start. Ive seen on Temu the rechargeable compressor with an airbrush and attachments for $70 Cdn. Would these have the air pressure needed for acrylics?

  4. The paint is dollar store craft stuff applied with a brush since I cant afford an airbrush. I did buy Tamiya Smoke, Flat clear and Flat black yesterday. Need it to warm up to paint outside.
  5. Just finished it It had a few issues with fitment but for not touching a model for around 8 years I'm content with it.
  6. Aggghh..😡Somebody stole my hobby supplies from my mailbox, detail brushes , polishing sandpaper, gel pens and fine detail tape. Now my projects on hold.
  7. While waiting for the weather to warm up so I may paint my 69 Chevelle and my 76 Corvette I thought I'd finish my 1997 Corvette I started in Sept 24.

  9. What is the difference? Acrylic or enamel? Do any need clearcoat or even a primer?

  14. This is my progress so far. Using acrylic craft paint due to it being cheap. Will buy better when funds allow. Racing green will be great I think, and I will do my proper prep with body so I can be proud. Using Vector mags from 76 custom Corvette kit and sidepipes.

  17. Did you use blackwash on the chrome?
  18. My name is Alex and I am just getting back into car model building after being incarcerated for 7 yrs. It helps get my mind clear and lets me be creative. I look forward to seeing all the stuff that everyone is creating and gaining more experience.
