Tried to persuade the body to make the wheels center in the wheelwells, didnt work.

It was the ratios that took getting sorted but spraying parts or a body is straight forward. Im not doing trim or fine details with them, simpler using markers or my fine brushes.

No ive used a old Paasche when I was a teen , didnt like it.

Im impressed with the unique approach, instead of big Hemi you went slant 6.

Great paint Engine wiring nice touch Wheels are right on IMO put old tires back on, taller sidewall looks the part.

Great stang What paint is that?

I bought a well reviewed and well made Airbrush kit(compressor, 3 airbrushes, hose, tools etc) the siphon feed had a plastic body, loose fittings and the jar was poor fitting into the airbrush. The gravity feeds are all metal, well machined, smooth trigger, sprays A+. It just didnt make sense why pure water would spray but 80% water20%paint would not from the siphon feed.

With that nice dark red here's a wheel that would pop.

Wheels are poor, I brushed Tamiya smoke on, flat black in pockets. May try dechroming and go body color.

My C8 build will be the Elkhart green from the 1972 color chart.

Most excellent work

I clean /sand the body, gloves on, wash with Dawn , rinse, dry , inspect, no primer, mix acrylic color, spray 22 psi, 4 coats, leave overnight. I live in a multi person place so I have to use acrylics (no smell). When it comes to airbrushes, gravity feed only, remember 1:1 cars dont get painted with siphon feeds.

Thats what I use, but I think its spatter from airbrush. I just went over it with less psi seemed to cover.
