  1. What do people use to make windshields for resin or 3D printed bodies? Also, how do you create the interior tins of these bodies to not only look correct but to also fit the chassis correctly? Thanks for any info!
  2. I bought a re-issued Don Garlits 1/25 Revell dragster this past weekend.I believe I can get the front wheel pants & side wings from some spare AMT/MPC kits that I have. I'm needing the decals for the '71 Keeling & Clayton rear-engined dragster that Revell produced in the early 70s. I believe Slixx used to produce these several years ago, but they're long gone from their website, ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Love this! Good looking ride for sure. Been wanting to get one of the Tony Foti LAPD kits for a while to do a tribute to Jeff Waddle's "Wild Bunch" car. Just have to figure out how to do zoomies on it & get someone to make decals for me
  4. Man that looks good! Awesome job!
  5. Freaking killer! LOVE these MPC funny car kits
  6. This is beyond killer! Absolutely love it!
  7. I LOVE this!!! Anxious to see it finished. I did a shirt design for Clare a few years back of this car. I was honored he approved it.
  8. Good eye! I noticed that too. The body looks the same except for the overhang in front of the front fenders. That's wild!
  9. I'm new here & have started building models again recently, so I apologize if this has been asked a million times before. I also do custom 1/64 diecasts for fun. I was wondering what everyone prefers for clear coat on a basic Testors or cheap Walmart spray paints. I tried Krylon on a die cast & the it did great on the paint, but the decals dissolved & broke up even after using Microsol on them before hand. I've got several drag kits I'm building when I get the time & really don't want that to happen to them. I've heard of people using Future floor polish & they make it look easy, but I've also heard it makes the decals become yellow after a while. I'm by NO means a pro obviously, so if anyone could give me a few tips I'd appreciate it beyond words. Thanks for your time
  10. Favorite movie car of all time is the '51 Merc that Stallone drove in Cobra. Honorable mentions are Milner's top gas (top fuel in the movie) dragster, the '41 Willys from Hot Rod (great gearhead movie), & the Firebird funny car from Fast Company (horrible movie, but good drag racing scenes LOL!)
  11. Thank you!
  12. BADASS my man! The stance is killer!
  13. Thanks guys!!!
  14. Thank you all SO MUCH for the kind words. I appreciate it more than you know. Here's a handful for more for y'all. Hope you enjoy them!
  15. Both are awesome! My dad had a lot of the old Johan flopper kits when I was a kid. Following these builds
  16. Good grief this is killer! Amazing build!
  17. Wow! Thank you all so much for the suggestions!!!
  18. I'm in the process of building the old MPC Nitro Bird funny car model. It's a 1/25 kit. I bought it off eBay a couple years ago when the seller claimed it was complete. It isn't lol. I'm missing the rear spoiler & the packed parachute that goes on the back of the body. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can replace these parts? I've never worked with styrene before so cutting one out would probably be a failure. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not as skilled as most anyone on this forum so I apologize for my ignorance on these topics in advance. Thanks!
  19. All are great, but that Chevette is RAD!
  20. Can't beat a t-bucket & man, that looks amazing!
