  1. Or a 3d resin U Haul body, here is a nice one in much smaller scale, the very popular '76-'79 "TC" No automatic, no AC, no power windows or steering in those days. 1:87 scale 76 Ford U-Haul - Imgur
  2. Agreed, AMT chose, for whatever reason, a low production extra long wheel base camper hauler version for there Ford pickup kit of the 70's. I think we deserve an update 5 decades later.
  3. Some of us want the the '55 Big Jobs. Still waiting for a high quality 3d resin in 1/25. Would be nice if we got the big 317 Lincoln V8 too.
  4. Or the Gulf version. Base model with zero moldings. Standard 8' bed for a correct 4x4.
  5. Available now! Moebius 1970 Ford F-350 Ramptruck 1:25 Racecar Car Hauler truck model kit 2588 | eBayw My to do items, remove unnecessary moldings on cab, and replace kit wheels with a much more realistic aftermarket resin Budd wheels .🚚 3d printable truck wheels with dual rear・ STL File for ・Cults
  6. Thanks for all the positive comments. Hope these conversions get back into circulation.
  7. Used one of my last AITM conversion kits to build a '65 single drive 281. Went with dual headlights and Stabilaire rear suspension on this build. Under hood is the 250 Cummins, the standard Peterbilt engine in this era. Wheels are aftermarket resin pieces and tires are real rubber Double Takes. Paint was Testors Champagne Gold Metallic
  8. Beautiful job, paint, interior, chassis and upgrades are outstanding. This build could have actually really existed in 1:1 by Ford back in the day. Many pickups in this era came with special "car only" cool metallic colors. Also, Ford was testing the twin I beam and 300's and 352's in earlier '63 model pickups well before the official introduction in '65.
  9. Great transformation to a simple old school base model pickup, really like the color choices, 6 cyl., stock wheels and silver caps instead of chrome caps. This build reminds us of when the no nonsense look was the majority!
  10. Nice find, great choices on upgrades, should really transform the kit!
  11. Here is a video of one of the PIE early Pete Cabovers
  12. Great looking Pete cabover, back in the day, most were long haul fleet trucks, PIE and Navajo liked to run these with big drom boxes and super long frames. Excellent paint job and detail work, would look sharp with a set of doubles!
  13. Looks very big and impressive! Thanks for doing the Big Horn, an important, but short lived, piece of Dodge truck history. Would have been a nice kit if AMT would have covered it back in the 70's. Great color choices. I have found that using larger 22" tires will help fill the gap on larger front fenders.
  14. Excellent builds, such different subjects, the extended Pete a prized and maintained possession, the GMC, a gov owned workhorse that has never been given attention it's entire life. Beautiful graphics and paint scheme work on the wrecker, a very realistic look back in the day. Really like paint and finish on the GMC, grill detail work is spot on, wheels are a perfect match for a 2 ton.
