  1. Matt has some awesome stuff available. There's some great talent on yt. I'd love to have my own channel but money and time to dedicate to it is extremely lacking atm.
  2. Matt makes great stuff with very reasonable prices, you may as well load up on stock since you're paying for shipping.
  3. I have a file for this exact print that you can purchase from Matt @ https://www.mcvproducts.com/product-page/2pcs-radiator-electric-fan The resolution and quality is top notch. I am using a pair of these on my Moebius/ Model King 66 F100 build.
  4. I have been 3d printing fans and they look spectacular behind the mesh. Super fine details like that really pop on an already highly detailed kit like the one you've currently got going. I could refer you to an online shop for some but they're all based in the US and I am certain shipping prices would be out of the question.
  5. Thanks, sir. For mostly oob and some scratch details, it came out great imo... but it still leaves a lot to be desired. I used my cricut and scans to make the flag masks. I am going all out on my Dale Earnhardt build for the next one. I may need some of your parts to add to it.
  6. I figured as much knowing the shape of the rear of the car and knowing the shape of the more square truck cab. But still, the idea to reuse them was outside the ol' box thinking and something I appreciate.
  7. I just had a wild hair up the rear and wanted to give a go on a fendered lo boy. I have a resin chopped grille with photo etch to go along. However, in keeping the hood and using the grille, I will have to cut the whole support and move it back, trim and adjust until the flathead and radiator fits right. Using the kit supplied grille like I usually do, would require more cutting and modifying to fit.
  8. Monogram does have a 29 A truck. They can be found for about $30 on ebay.
  9. She's going to be looking real cool with a nailhead in it. It's comical how different the two scales are next to each other despite only being one scale body length in difference. This is exactly why I do not build Monograms, minus their race cars and why my Japanese cars and kits get their own shelf. I also did a little playing around with mine for a bit earlier and ended up cutting some slots into the fenders to channel the body over them.
  10. Now that you mention it, and I can not unsee it... the rear quarters used for cab corners is quite impressive. I am a bit blown away by the usage of what I probably would have tossed away never to see again.
  11. Scale motorsports has a PE set that will solve some issues on this kit, especiallythe window frames. Pick a set up if you haven't already. I have a few of these kits myself and I have only built one out of box because of how bad this kit really is. I am quite happy to see you diving in and addressing some of them. Here's my custom painted Goodwrench Service Plus livery with custom ordered decals.
  12. Keep her rolling. I have the same exact kit in the same stage of progress. I wont be able to move on with it until I finish my 66 F100 and 32 sedan. But she is slated to finish third.
  13. Very very nice build, sir. I added the video to my watch later playlist to check out when I have more time to do so.
  14. Thanks for sharing. I bookmarked this page so I can refer to it when ready to try my hand at this.
  15. That would be awesome to see for sure!
  16. Yep, that long wheel base looks much better. Great decision.
  17. Not to steal your thread, here. But I have a question and maybe you can help. I sell parts to a guy who owns a pretty awesome 27 model T on a 32 frame. He wants to commission a build. However, when I look at his tub and turtle deck they're flush at the top. The AMT 25' has a huge height difference between the two. Do I chop the tub or raise the turtle deck? He says the steel is all original and nothing is modified. I know absolutely nothing about T's.
  18. Stretched frame is definitely the way to go. I did this on my 32 sedan and it really changes the whole attitude of the car.
  19. Gorgeous build. I'd love to see the build process so I can see how you chopped up the cab. I want to give my hand a try at making one.
  20. These are some very nice and highly detailed builds. Very nice work, sir.
  21. My Moebius/ Model King 66 F100 Styleside short bed project. Lot's of 3d printed parts. Not much oob is left. It's currently in the paint process and should be finished within the next couple of weeks. I have a build thread if anyone wants to follow along.
  22. I wonder if they fixed the body alignment issues that plagued all of the priors. I'd love to use that chop top with the rest of the front panels.
  23. Do it. Finish her up and get to posting so we can see what you've been up to
  24. Thanks for all of the compliments, gents. I have shaping tools that I have made from a soda can. The one I will use is crescent shaped. I use tamiya extra thin quick set type to soften the rod as I use the tool to shape the beads to give it a realistic effect. The car will have a bare metal finish. Slammed, stretched, channeled, chopped and sometimes, sectioned is the way to go. Extreme is certainly my style. And as far as extreme goes, this car will look amazing next to my frame laying 66 F100, which is about to get painted this weekend. I have a build thread here... https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/204408-moebius-model-king-1966-f100-styleside-short-bed-hard-parked-edition/#comment-3091818
  25. Thanks, sir. Once I finish my 66 F100, I will be right back in the saddle with this one. I am excited to recreate the open roof with the wood cross bracing in place. However, I have thought of recreating the cross bracing to look like steel with lots of lightening holes and matching bomber seats for that Kool Kustom rod aesthetic.
