MCM Ohana

MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Body is in primer, the bottom of the tub is 1/2 done in prime. Tomorrow I will work on the body lines that need to be dealt with.
  2. That's slick!!
  3. That is beautiful!! Love the blue!!
  4. Thank you Steve! I may have an extra grill on the way from a buddy. So I can do some mockup in the near future.
  5. Thanks! This was a fun kit and I have some ideas I want to try with the next one. (As you can see I had a frame tweak issue... but will be in a better place to deal with it before paint.) I have 2 more in the stash because initially I was gonna frame and chassis raid them, but now will build them.
  6. I didn't know that it was missing a bit on the grill. I should of done my due diligence on that. But I am happy to see it coming back. I really enjoyed this kit. Will have to get a couple more for my stash.
  7. Awesome, amazing, beautiful, sleek... Love it!
  8. Love the Olds, I saw your chop steps... incredible! I am doing a Hudson as well, and your so far in the weeds with this, I love it! And that Plymouth ... sleek and low!
  9. A bit of a mock up of a Skyline I am working on.
  10. Got the Hudson bathed, frame, tub and body. Another coat on the little Datsun bed. Detail painting on the engine for the Skyline I had posted.
  11. Got the body and tub and frame washed, will let them have a nice over night drying session. Will prime the body, tub, and frame tomorrow if things go as planned. Primed the suspension goodies. Once suspension is assembled will paint frame and go back and add some details.
  12. I did the header gluing, and engine mounting at lunch today.
  13. Last two WiP pics... now it's posted in Under Glass.
  14. Well this ole girl is done. Stayed box stock minus a couple things I didn't feel went with my vibe for the truck. A couple fiddly bits, and some flash issues, tbh, went together easily and I look forward to building another of this out of my stash.
