  1. A very interesting & unusual subject. Great model !!!
  2. Thank you 😃 Michelle : - the Victorinox knife comes from a Detail Master photoetched sheet called "Interior Junk" (along with the key ring & keys which are on the table) - the Coke bottle & glasses come from an Asuka blister (containing the cooler too) Hope that this helps.
  3. Hello another model recently completed : the old Revell Vanagon Westfalia. I am a die-hard Ford fan but have always had a soft spot for vintage VWs, especially air-cooled ones. It's built mostly box stock, apart from a few details for the interior (Asuka, MCG, Doozie...) & fog lamps (Scale Production). The paint is Tamiya light green (spray can). This kit is quite old but is still a joy to build (it's my 4th yet & I still have 5 others to build).
  4. Maybe not the most popular F-Birds as you wrote but I like them a lot, with their Camaro cousins. Great model, with a perfect choice of paint !
  5. I like the colour very much & it is perfect with that white interior. A very clean model indeed.
  6. Fantastic, fabulous car & great colour !
  7. Just excellent ! A pleasant change from the SS Chevelles we are used to see. And the color is superb !
  8. A fantastic "what if" car ! I like everything about it : the subject, the color, the wheels...
  9. Those widebody cars are always impressive ! Your model is great, & as David, I like that colour !
  10. A massive thank you to all of you my friends !!! Don't hesitate to buy this transkit, you won't be disappointed, it builds as easily as a standard styrene kit.
  11. Hi friends. I have completed this mk1 Escort Mexico. It is a resin transkit made by the German firm Scale Production, to be used with the Belkits rally Escort. As usual with SP products, it is stunning. The resin casting is very very fine & clean, a lot of optional parts are provided to allow you to build a basic Escort, a Mex, an RS2000 or even why not a Twin Cam. There are several steering wheels, several wheels, a full width front bumper, decals & even several gas caps ! The parts from the donor Escort adapt with little or no modifications. I used wide SP Ford 13" RS wheels for that sporting look. The paint is an authentic Ford Maize yellow from a touch up spray can. Thanks for looking !
  12. Ouch ! This model is a beauty ! It is perfect in every way, I'm totally fan of it !
  13. Definitely one of my favourite muscle-cars ! Congrats, it is very nice ! I like it a lot. Grabber blue paint I guess ? Testors ? Funnily, I had built a very similar one years ago, but in GT trim 😀
  14. Pretty ! When I saw this new post, I expected to see the Monogram '78 Vette, I had completely forgotten this one. Your build is right, all the problems that you met during assembly don't appear on the finished model.
  15. I like these Fairlanes & this model is very interesting. The roof is clearly wrong on the Amt body but you managed to correct that successfully.
  16. Ouch ! Incredible ! I really fell in love with this trio. You did an outstanding job !
  17. I haven't seen too many of these built, so I'm quite happy to see yours. It looks fabulous in this great colour, especially with the color-keyed interior. Great job !
  18. A massive thank you to all of you ! 😀 I'm glad that you like it ! Gil, you are right, a clear coat (especially the PU ones) would make it too shiny considering the year of the car. In order not to burn through of the paint, I started wiht a not too agressive sanding grit (3600 if I remember well).
  19. A fantastic job ! I love the 1:1 car & your model is stunning, with great paint & the wheels are spot-on.
  20. I like too obscure rides & this one definitely is ! Very very nice model, congratulations !
  21. You are right : the main problem is that gasoline is absolutely out of price in France. Fortunately, now, with the internet, it is easier to maintain/restore American cars 👍
  22. Hi everyone. I have just completed this Amt '62 T-Bird. This kit is really great, I enjoyed every moment of its construction. I added an MCG photoetched set for the extra details (since it is a convertible, the interior is highly visible). The paint is Tamiya Pearl Green, without clear coat but sanded/polished. Thanks for looking !
  23. Oh ! What a fantastic & unsual model ! Believe it or not, a guy near my home has an early 70's Cutlass, very similar to this one ! (& Olds are not really common in France).
  24. To my eyes, it isn't faraway from perfect : fabulous paint, perfect details... A killer model !
  25. Thank you for your help Bob ! I am not part of Facebook but I have seen lots of these models for sale on eBay.
