  1. Michelle, that big Mopar is fantastic ! It is very nicely built & period correct. Have you printed or bought the '70 Chrysler 300 Hurst ?
  2. Thanks my friends ! Claude, I'm part of Koolest Kruzers too (same screen name, same avatar), we talked together some time ago... And you're right, so much to see here !
  3. YES ! Definitely my favourite Euro Ford ! Great rescue, I like it. A lot !

    Ferrari 330 gts

I didn't know this model (I'm not into Ferraris at all) but it is a very beautiful car. Your model is fantastic (looks like a puzzle, with parts coming from so many sources !), congrats !
  5. I'm a bit younger & I live in France but I have an old friend in the USA who is in his 70 & who told me exactly the same thing !
  6. Thanks so much ! I'm really glad to discover that there is a nice proportion of women on this forum. I'm part of a French modeling forum too (called Koolest Kruzers) & unfortunately, among the 500+ members, there isn't a single woman 😞 . It's a shame...
  7. Perfect French, Alan ! 😉 I already enjoy this forum a lot !
  8. Thank you my friends ! @baycolony : Gil, it's thanks to you that I could have this kit ! For some reason, the American eBay seller didn't want to ship to France. So Gil (we are long-distance friends for years) bought it & kindly sent it to me. I will never thank you enough since I wish to have every existing Cougar model in my collection (I am not that far away) ! Glad to see you here ! @Tony : ouch ! You owned a '68 XR7 !!! In a perfect world, I would drive my good old New Edge daily & have an early Cougar for the week-end drives !
  9. Thank you again to all of you ! I'm very happy with your welcome ! @bytownshaker : Edgar, 40 year working for a Ford dealer, I wish my career was like yours ! @Tony : I was born in '73 too (May 6th). No problem with your joke, I have a huge sens of humor ! Yes, my avatar photo is my beloved Ford Cougar, my trusty daily driver for over 10 years now (for our American friends, New Edge Cougars were sold under the brand "Ford" on overseas markets & not Mercury like the domestic ones).
  10. Another recent build : Paul Hettick's '66 Ford Country Sedan. I had to use an Amt '66 Galaxie of course as a donor & everything went smooth. I just had to cut small parts of the Amt chassis (rear wheel wells) so the interior bucket fit. The paint is again from FireScaleModeler (a 60s Ford hue). The dogdishes come from Amt's 1966 Fairlane 427.
  11. Very interesting concept indeed ! It looks fabulous !
  12. Hi ! I wish to show you my latest completed model : a Paul Hettick's 1977 Merc Cougar. I am a massive Cougar fan & try & buy every model available. When I saw this model for sale on eBay, I had to have it. As with all Paul's models, the fit is perfect. Pricey but well worth it ! I painted it using a FireScaleModeller spray paint (a 70's Citroën hue in fact) & the interior in Tamiya insignia white. Hope you like it !
  13. I like this car & had noticed that the model was inaccurate. Great build nevertheless.
  14. Very nice model ! I had seen "raw" printed ones but not a built one yet. You chose a great color, I really like it !
  15. Waow ! I like it, Andria ! Great weathering, a pleasant change from all the over-restored muscle-cars we are used to see.
  16. Thank you for your messages ! As you guess, I have built hundreds of models over the years, I will post them little by little...
  17. Hi everyone. I just signed up to your fantastic forum. My first name is Bertrand, I'm 52. I live in eastern France, near the town of Nancy. I build models for 40 years. My subjects are all the cars from the Ford Motor Company (American, European, Australian ones...), plus some Ford-powered cars (Lotus, Morgans, Cobras, Panteras & the like). I will post pics soon. Thank you for welcoming among you.
