do it up bro. mine hit the back burner i only got a month and a half to bust out new builds for a up coming show. so famine is on the back burner for now
Looks like your gonna make a bitchin snake outta this one. are you going to do full race style or street race look? Hmm after seeing all the vipers lately makes me wanna build one up too lol.
Nice build. very clean. do you by any chance still have the directions to this? i got this kit off my friend and it's missing the directions so if you could send me a pm with the directions scanned it would be very helpful
Very nice build up. I like the simpleness of the staff cars back in those days. If only i could find a kit of hitler's staff limo so i could build it up.
Ok so i wanted to warn you guys to watch what you eat, where you eat, and whos around you when you eat. I had the stomach flu since monday and this one was a bad one. Im not going to go into detals for you guys but i'll put it this way i went to the hospital and death sounded better then what i went through. So be careful guys and avoid getting this flu because its a real bad one.
1938 cadillac hearse,93-96 cadillac bigbody (hearse and limos as well),2000's cadillac dts, sts, and cts.
and i havent owned these cars i only want them as kits lol.
Dang bro this is looking good. its gonna be a sharp build when its done . What color are you gonna do factory or custom? if factory what color will that be?
My reason is ADHD lol.
The only thing is i start them then boom i go to another one after i paint the first one. I have like 50% of my stash is painted and needs assembely but i only dig them out incase of a up coming show lol
Try candy red or brandy wine with some patterns done in gold and silver as your base .
Also instead of putting your hydros and batteries in the bed and making it look cluttered try putting them under the bed. Go get some angled styrine (the stuff theat looks like angle iron) and fab up your battery rack and hydro rack. That way it looks clean simple and perfect rather then cluttered. The only thing that will show is your hydraulic cylinders in the center of your bed
Ok for your primer question do three light coats and wetsand using a 1200 grit to take away small imperfectionsBUT becarful on the edges. Then do atleast three coats of your base the first two very light and the last on a wet coat Then wet sand that as before be carful on the edges. Then two coats of clear wet sand and buff and your good to go.
As for washing your parts if it works for you then do it. I personally use a tack rag for my builds especially if thers alot of body work done to them.
