NOS on a supercharged engine? The word BOOM comes to mind and the sight of pistons flying through the hood and peeping holes in your block are invisioned. Yha thats a bad mix . Back on subject this should be a nice build bro i'm gonna watch this one Who knows i might go pick up one of these kits as soon as i see how yours turns out

Ok heres the story. I have been facinated with WW2 since history class in middle school (no particular reason why though). So i was playing call of duty W@W and got a idea to do a WW2 build up. So after some research and looking at what kits were offered i decided to get the 41 chevy pickup by revell. After looking at the kit for a week itwo things screamed out to me. 1: was a army base truck and 2: was a lowrider bomb .So after planning everything out and practically loosing my ming i decided to blend both of these ideas. So this build up will be a military inspired lowrider bomb. This should get interesting really fast LOL. The Pics more to come soon.

Thanks guys -
Well everyone knows that i have been in school for about a year now.But today i have completed the Ford F.A.C.T (ford accelerated certificate training)program. I have earned 12 certificates ranging from electrical repair to 6.4L diesel repair and diagnostics. This is a very proud moment i am sharing here because i view your guys here as a group of people that have helped and welcomed me(even when i was completely stupid) here. Now within the next three weeks i will also earn my california SMOG program certificates. With all the certs i have i will be able not to only get the basic technician pay when hired but i can ask for atleast $30/hr.Im also looking into the diesel program that UTI is going to offer at my school within the upcoming year or so for the fact that california will be smogging diesel trucks real soon. Now for my rave: If there is anyone toying with going to school at UTI i would like to tell you to go.It is far superior to aany other tech school out there. So stop thinking and just go you will be greatful when you do .

HAPPY B-DAY!!! Donnie Boger !!!!!!!!!!
evilone replied to Blake Rogers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Let me add my two cents in this topic. DONNIE BOGER HAVE A GREAT B-DAY BRO -
This was a 24hr build for a friendly challenge a while back i had. As you see i took the most LOUD colors as possable and used them on this build. But now its time to revisit this build and make it right, cool, and non-friendly.Its my version of frankenstein LOL.Plans are simple make it a lead-slead,engine swap, custom interior (thanks lindenburg for cutting corners ),and a custom frame . Heres where its at now
-
Well after along while of sitting on the back burner i thought it would be a good time to bring this back. Its been foiled and now the engine is gonna get detailed.
-
sir its a diesel its not ment to be clean LOL if you think it will help others post your pics here bro maybe we'll get this one pinned for others to learn how to convert this engine to a AWSOME engine.

Ok heres the story. I bought the repop revell ford f-250 pick-up awhile back.I opened like a little kid at X-mas time (come on who could blame me this kit has a diesel )it up to start working on it. The first thing i did was cut all the engine parts off the trees and i almost wet myself the block looks like a diesel .And then came the last parts. Wait theres a throttle body? A distributor? and a crazy unbelievable intake? When the hell did a diesel have a distributor,a throttle body, and a non functional intake . So i read the little caption that talks about how cool the truck is (i know this already) then BOOM 7.5L gasoline engine (OMG its like im the dude that was in the twilight zone all the books he wanted but no glasses to read them ).So i look at the kit and everything looks like the diesel options on the 1:1 trucks . WTF is going on here they got my dreams up and for this NO DIESEL.So my question is how can i turn this fictional motor into a diesel? what would be the best route to go?

Also maybe lower the rear a tiny bit because all that junk on the roof is heavy even for a hearse/ambulance suspension. If i remember right you can drill a second set of holes in the rear for the axle to fit through. Or you can modernize it and toss a air ride system in the back and put the tank and compressor in the interior .
