  1. Well after a 4 hr bloody and sweat soaked battle lastnight i got the two bodies maited togeather. First up the tools i used Second up is the plans for the roof cut (in this case i had to cut out 4 mm out of the center yours maybe different) After a 1/2 hour of cutting heres where its at I attached the front assembily to the hearse top then i cut the rear fenders (not pictured) and attached them to the hearse top as well A front and rear shot Took a bit of plastic of the rear bumper to fit the door opening (you may have to scratch build a rear bumper on your conversion unless you get lucky as i did) Next up i'll show you how to rework the interior pan to fit
  2. if its the same guy that disrespected a hearse (earlier post in this topic) i say we go vlad the impailer on him i could use a yard decoration i'll just tell the cops its a fake body
  3. ok if you would have chose the other option i would have been concerned LOL
  4. First road block i ran into this one heard first (ouch) gotta cut the read fenders and make a scratch built rear bumper for it.

  9. kinda looks like the one on transformers 2 only reason i remember that car is that it was shown in sceans thea megan fox isnt in LOL
  10. I got this kit lastnight and was challenged to build a factory stock build.Plans are to make it look like its fresh off the desplay floor loaded with every option that was availible for that year. The color is german silver and im thinking of doing a tan suade interior. I find this to be harder then building lowriders but it is interesting i may have to do more factory stock builds.
  11. nice im watching this one
  12. Anytime bro. Side note: During this step for those of you who want to do a chop top it is easier to do it now rather then doing it after you glue the two bodies togeather
  13. Ok heres how this tip started. Lastnight at a model meet at pegasus i bought a haulin hearse body, glass, and interior. Trying to figure out what im going to do to this i ran across a 64 caddy coupe de ville and 1+1=2 lol. So i decided since im going to do a conversion i may as well share it with you guys and maybe help with a few problems. First up i measured the two cars and of course the hearse was a bit too wide so i will have to cut down the middle and shave a few MM's out of it to make it fit. Then i marked the coupe where it needed to get cut at with a silver sharpie (pics below) I then marked the hearse body (dont have pics but its the same as the coupe) and cut it After i cut the hearse i moved on to the coupe again and cut the front door and front clip off and mocked it up to the hearse body. As you see the two didn't match up perfectly but it still needs work. More to come soon so stay tuned
  14. no problem bro and just because it didn't pop in your head dosen't mean anything bad bro i got this idea out of boredom and figured that i should pass it on to people that have taught me stuff as a return investment.
  15. nice
  16. jeep with no wax or metal polish notice the bmf looks dull and the paint doesn't reflect as much cadillac with wax and foil polished notice the paint reflects better then the jeep's paint and the foil looks like actual chrome (to thinks i was pondering to repaint it lol) nu-finish comes in a bright orange bottle and mothers metal polish comes in a little whit container you can find these at you local autoparts store and they will cost you under $30 to get both but you can do atleast 2,000 models per container if you use it wisely.
  17. i'll have picsof a model waxed and the foil buffed as well as a model waiting to get waxed and the foil is not buffed as soon as they load
  18. i will i kinda am fond of this one myself lol if you look up flowercars on google they have a vast array of years including new 2011's that are currently being built but most of them are cadillacs not that theres a problem with that since my very own hearse is a caddy LOL
  19. actuall it depends on the type of roller deck. if its like the one i have (non mechanical end loader) they are about $500 but if its a side loader then your looking at $1500 or more.
  20. little factoid they actually made hearses out of those cars rather then it being a stock wagon they took a regular stock version and streached them then put the fiberglass panels up. That is cool non the less though.
  21. heres what it started as i was looking up something and decided to try doing a flower car since i like hearses.out of all the years i looked there was never a 96 caprice hearse nor a flowercar.so looking closely i figured out that a 94 impala ss look exactly like a 96 caprice and this is how i decided to do this build. heres what i've done i converted it from a 94 impala ss to a 96 caprice by de-badging it,i cut the back roof off, shaved the rear doors, opened the tailgate/trunk,shaved the side mouldings, painted it,mocked up the rims and casket. heres the pics. the chassis need a bit of work in the rear so i can make the rear floor flush and i still need the flowercar top (that is going to be 100% scratch built) and then it wont look like a impalamino with a casket in the back LOL.
  22. thanks guys
  23. try doing the lilac on the base then flake and kandy purple on the top
  24. just finished this beauty today basically out of box except the rims.
  25. the 1:16th scale 57 chevy lowrider and the vert impala infront of it (behind the front row with the bumper kit) were what the punks showed up with
