  1. Very cool, don't let the comment to view ratio bother you. Lot's of people look but don't comment.
  2. One more to add,
  3. This one is more of a "patina rod" than a "Rat",
  4. Beautiful work!!
  5. That looks like a rootbeer brown to me as well, I don't think a GM color book will matter because I don't think it was offered on the '65 Riviera.
  6. Beautiful work, what kit is this and is it still in production?
  7. Here's mine,
  8. My mother had a red bug with a '40 Ford front end kit back in the '70's complete with ah-ooga horn. It was pretty cool back in the day.
  9. I vote model. Just a thought but I'd like to see some details on these like scale and such when it does turn out to be a model rather than just announcing "Model" or "Real".
  10. Yeah, time to do some digging. I don't want to spend an ungodly amount on this car as it's destined to be kitbashed. Thanks for the info, it gives me some direction anyways.
  11. Where's yours?
  12. Does anyone know of a source for 1/24-1/25 scale LeMans prototype kits? Farily modern stuff is what I'm after.
  13. The '66 Riviera lowrider kit has a really nice Nailhead in it, I used that engine in my build of this kit.
  14. Very cool, Old F1 cars are awesome. I prefer the late '60's myself, in particular the '67 cars. You need to pick up the DVD "Lap of the Gods" if you can find it, there's some great in car footage from the six wheeler that you'd really enjoy.
  15. Nice work! Were you aware that Mercury actually had gone a bit in that direction with the Comet Caliente? I saw one of these for sale in someones front yard about ten years ago, I wish I would have bought it now. That's a stock hood, no big block though. Pretty cool little car.
  16. Geez, cut the guy some slack. He's only got 14 posts and it's not abundantly clear that only Harry is allowed to start threads in here. I think B-dub is on the right track with adding a subforum for everyone to use for RoM threads. BTW- I vote model, really nice work though!
  17. Very very cool, I built one of those old Mack kits when I was a kid and I wish I could find another one in a LHS.
  18. Do I have my name in my sig? Let's see because I don't remember. Edit- I guess not. Edit-Hey look, now it's there.
  19. Nice work!
  20. Yup, all the Nailheads had rear mounted distibutors but all the V8's starting in 1967 were the wedgehead design and had a front mounted distributor. I believe the aluminum 215 also had a front mounted distributor prior to 1967.
  21. Very nice work. Very odd though that both you and the Minidreams guy both put the distributor in the wrong location on your GSX builds , Buicks had a front mounted distributor.
  22. Nice work, I can't imagine the effort you put into the paintwork. I hate to be fussy but the Buick motors had the distributor mounted in the front of the engine.
