I vote model.
Just a thought but I'd like to see some details on these like scale and such when it does turn out to be a model rather than just announcing "Model" or "Real".
Yeah, time to do some digging. I don't want to spend an ungodly amount on this car as it's destined to be kitbashed.
Thanks for the info, it gives me some direction anyways.
Very cool, Old F1 cars are awesome. I prefer the late '60's myself, in particular the '67 cars.
You need to pick up the DVD "Lap of the Gods" if you can find it, there's some great in car footage from the six wheeler that you'd really enjoy.
Nice work!
Were you aware that Mercury actually had gone a bit in that direction with the Comet Caliente?
I saw one of these for sale in someones front yard about ten years ago, I wish I would have bought it now.
That's a stock hood, no big block though. Pretty cool little car.
Geez, cut the guy some slack. He's only got 14 posts and it's not abundantly clear that only Harry is allowed to start threads in here.
I think B-dub is on the right track with adding a subforum for everyone to use for RoM threads.
BTW- I vote model, really nice work though!
Yup, all the Nailheads had rear mounted distibutors but all the V8's starting in 1967 were the wedgehead design and had a front mounted distributor.
I believe the aluminum 215 also had a front mounted distributor prior to 1967.
Very nice work.
Very odd though that both you and the Minidreams guy both put the distributor in the wrong location on your GSX builds , Buicks had a front mounted distributor.
Nice work, I can't imagine the effort you put into the paintwork.
I hate to be fussy but the Buick motors had the distributor mounted in the front of the engine.
