    1964 GTO

Thank you John. The engine hoist is a scratch built item. I think I used directions from online somewhere. I can look for the drawing if you're interested.
  2. That's pretty cool.
  3. Very cool. Did you do the Saran Wrap on wet paint to get that effect?
  4. Not a problem - just send all your kits to me and I'll take care of them. LOL. I've been fortunate in that I've never experienced "builders block". I started building model cars in 1958 and haven't stopped yet.
  5. One extremely pretty build.
  6. Mailman was good today and brought me a Thames panel truck, Datsun off road pick up, and a '57 Chevy convertible. The best part is that they were FREE from IPMS. I just have to build them and write reviews. I'm going to try and build a street version Thames, some huge tired Datsun, and no idea about the Chevy yet.

    Thanks Danno.
  8. Steelcase has their own chrome plating shop. Not only that, the drivers get "their tractor" along with summer & winter clothed with names embroidered on shirts & jackets. They get everything supplied to them except underwear, socks, and shoes. There used to be an extremely long waiting list to get hired as a Steelcase driver.
  9. Extremely nice build. The subtle flames are very nice and I love the SHINY :)
  10. If it's the bubble top version, I want some of them. Including the 2 piece wheels would be really cool.
  11. Just one pic? Need more of a nice looking build.

Thank you James. I think I reported that this was a Polar Lights kit - WRONG! AMT/ERTL Johnny Lightning kit. Sorry.

    Thank you Bill.
  14. I think I like the no chrome look.
  15. Super stance, details and SHINY :)
  16. Looking good.
  17. Loving the build and the SHINY :)
  18. Where's that Joe? Out on 64?
  19. A long time ago I worked in Warrenville, IL right off I-88. Every once in a while the highway patrol guys would line up a dozen or so of their cars while an airplane flew overhead spotting speeders. They'd work their way east during morning rush hour and then head back west for the evening rush. They must have ticketed hundreds of people in a single day.

Thank you very much guys. I remember the days when GTOs and 442s had suspension work done so they rode a bit higher in the air. I believe it was for weight distribution - but it just looked cool. Yes, that's the Vietnam Service Ribbon on the front. One goes on every one of my builds. This was a Polar Lights kit with a baby (Matchbox size) GTO to go along with the kit.

Thanks Bob. The frame rails are separate from the chassis so I just painted the rails the same color as the body.
