  1. Hi Ron. My vote would go to the Biscayne. Have you considered a base Impala Sport Coupe instead of the more formal "Custom Coupe"?
  2. The bright yellow one is an MPC kit. The name escapes me though.
  3. MOOOOOMMMMYYYY..... Pennywise is hiding under the bed again!!!!
  4. I hope that's rust on the bumper.... or is Christine's older sister PMSing and just had a "Moochie"-meal?
  5. Them's too cool, ######'n! Glad that you shared them with us. Please keep us updated on them. You could go into business making them... strike that. The styrene world needs your slant on things!
  6. Great companion to the Ford! How do you crank these beauties out so fast???
  7. Probably wrong this time, but my guess is model.
  8. Hey Custom, Very glad to see you and the Caddy back on the board! The canted forward headlights look alot like the 67-68 models which I like better than the too formal (IMHO) 65-66 models. Please keep us posted on the progress!
  9. Glad to see you back Custom! Evil and I wondered where you had dissapeared to!
  10. Hi Ed. IIRC it was Ideal and it was in an odd scale, somewhere around 1/20 (I think).
  11. Look at the rectangle on the inside of the right front wheel.??
  12. Thanks, Robert. I forgot about the GT40 in the Aurora style box. I was thinking of the Exotics series and the SSP totally escaped me.
  13. Hi Walt. That's a S-1. It's a re-pop of the Aurora kit. Monogram acquired some of the old Aurora molds in the late 80's (IIRC) and released some of them. The Maserati 3500, Ferrari GTO and the Porsche 904 were in this series. Monogram did some retooling on the Porsche . The others were released pretty much as Aurora had done them back in the early 60's. I don't think the Ford GT 40 was re-released, and the Avanti is "god knows where" .
  14. Many neat little details on this one. Guessing real.
  15. Thanks for the update George. I pm'd the ######'n when I saw he was on the premises and he told me the same thing. I just found some of the Lindberg 1/32 stuff here in Dallas (a modeling purgatory) and I can see why ######'n is burnt out. I'm going to have to go to Wally-World and get some magnification glasses and a desk lamp for my work bench before I can do any work on them. I think they shrunk them since the last time I built one under the Pyro banner.
  16. Hey george & evil, ######'n's stalking!!!!!
  17. I'm working on my F100, I had grand plans of a chopped top, but I didn't listen of the old adage "measure twice cut once"! What looked good on paper turned into a 'too much" chopped top. Fortunately I had an extra cab so my custom won't be chopped. The "too much" chopped top body will be saved for a future project.
  18. Send some my way! Maybe then I'll get some models finished!
  19. evil, have you been in ######'ns 'shrooms again? Bad, bad, boy!
  20. Come on now James. We all know you took pics of a 1/1! Excellent work!
  21. Excellent!!! 5 stars on the conversion!
  22. Very nice save! I wish Monogram would back-date some of their cars to the earlier issues, along with doing period box art like the "new AMT" is doing. On most of their street rod kits it would just take a wheel & tire swap. I think it would breathe some new life into their older releases.
  23. Neat idea. Great execution!
  24. Right now a stalled Revell 64 Impala, a 66 Impala Mod Stocker, a 04 GTO for the "Death Race" build and a AMT 53 F100 for the "Custom Build Off". For some reason the Revell Deals Wheels Z/28 keeps calling "build me"....

    GOTH THUG

That came out neat evil! Maybe I should have kept it! Is that a straight black flake, or does it have some blue pearl in it?
