  1. 1977 Holden Statesman HZ.
  2. Bout time for a fail here, I'm going real.
  3. Gregg doesn't love me... no e-mail(s) here!
  4. That is a "sticky wicket". I think your ideas of the 'cuda and the Maverick are correct. Not trying to keep the "dead horse" vein around but IMHO these have a better chance of being better sellers than some of the others. The 442 might be another one, but I don't suspect it will have the sales of the 'cuda or the Maverick. Another thought would be the 68 Fury police car if it was still around. If I recall correctly it was available quite late in Johan's line up. I personally would buy anything "Johan" just to help out revenue.
  5. Too Ghoul Crapn'!
  6. Pester us MORE Crapn'. We miss yr take on the plaztk! Howz the wood werkins coming along? .... no not that wood....

  8. Correct! Neat little cars.
  9. If you click on the pic it will enlarge.
  10. Very close. There is info on these cars out there. "Production" figures run between 20-50 cars as assembled, but the body kits were available "over the counter". They were converted in California.
  11. Hi Paul. Welcome to the forum! It looks like you have a great start on the 36. Please keep us updated!
  12. 83 Chevrolet Chevette, 75-76 AMC Pacer (proving my thought if a Pacer is assembled right you can have a Porsche 928) , Yugo, and a 67-68 Pontiac Firebird.
  13. Very good! 1968 Turin auto show as the Checker Ghia or Checker Centurion, 1969 show as the Ghia Centurion.
  14. Very close. Italian body, very unusual American chassis.
  15. This car was shown at two major car shows, in two different years, with two different names:
  16. Thoughts and prayers from here!
  17. 1954 Buick Wildcat II Motorama show car.
  18. I'm guessing real. If it's a model it's simply fantastic!
  19. 1970 Toyota Corolla Sprinter.
  20. Hi Custom. Glad to see the 'vette is still .... uh... alive (?)! I think this color works better than the purple.
  21. Joey, welcome back to modeling and welcome to a great site. There is plenty of knowledge here; young, old and forgotten. There is no such thing as a stupid question, so don't hesitate to ask. Nick is correct on the Tamiya kits, but they can be pricey. All of the kit manufacturers can be hit and miss as far as quality and ease of assembly. Some kits that usually go together good and look good when assembled are the Monogram 1/24 scale kits. Alot of them are somewhat simplified and would make good re-starter kits.
  22. Aren't those what Ricardo Montalban waxed so eloquently about being covered in "fine Corinthian leather"?!
  23. Fixin to be 49 . Mom always supported my hobby, dad resigned himself that I was still "going to play with toy cars" about 15 years ago. My first "build" was an AMT 1963 Thunderbird 'vert annual in late '63 or early '64.
  24. Ooh, tough one.... model. (?)
