Im thinking of getting the Tamiya Audi Quattro (stock version), is it worth buying as a nice curbside kit or is it a bomb? Shown as a 1980-82 model.

Picked this up at NNL West, after talking with Brendan about Hasegawa kits I bought it. Not much to the kit, basic curbside kit. Saw one being built up on the AF site. The wheels I didn't like at first, kind of bland and cheap look. I looked at them on other cars like the Revell 320i and Golf MkII kits but, got them painted with Model Master Gun Metal and wiped off the rim. Plans are not set in stone (or styrene) but I thinking of Italian Red with an offset racing stripe and undecided on the interior. I also have ordered the Evoluzione version.

Update time. chassis is done and starting the interior. Used Humbrol and Model Master paints on the exhaust and drive train. mock up

I was already planning on ordering from Strada Sports but wanted to know about the products. Im thinking on buying the Mustang supercharger, bumpers for the R-M VW Golf, and waiting for the Fox-body Mustang DTM for the Alfa 155 kit. Thanks for the advice.

Has anyone used Scale Production items, think of getting some resin bits from them.

Here's the AMT 1/43 Custom Cougar, there was also and Corvette, Jaguar, and Javelin in the series. Painted Tamiya TS-75 Champagne Gold and the vinyl part is Model Master Flat Black with a light polishing to give it the Armor All look. The stripe is from the kit and is pretty good but I forgot to trim the extra film on the roof stripe.

After I get my NNL cars done im starting on a Revell 911 Turbo for one of my coworkers whose and Porsche fan. I can't find engine pictures but just the exterior shots of the car. The plan for the car is silver with a black interior and the Fusch wheels.

Its back! The roof has been painted Tamiya pearl white over matt white with two coats of clear, I'll try a polish it out. The tires and wheels are steel wheels from the AMT '62 Bel Air and Goodyear G70-15 from the '70 Monte Carlo. The seats will be covered with 3M painters tape and shot with Tamiya red brown.
