  1. I'm assuming that if a half inch equals a foot in 1-24th , then 1-48th is double , right ? Ed Shaver
  2. Mike , there a couple of "Petro - holics like myself that decorate their pumps . I guess I need to run out before the New year and shoot a few frames and entertain ya'all here ............ Ed Shaver
  3. Merry Kristmas back at ya , however tacky too! Ed Shaver
  4. As to a picture of a 32 Ford heavy frame , uh no , not at this time . I can tell ya the frame was the same regardless of the type of rear wheel . Springs were added to facilitate any extra wheight as it was with the Model T frames . I would sugest googleing the early Ford Club of America archives ............ they recognize any and all Ford and Mercurys 1932 -53. Ed Shaver
  5. James, in all seriousness, you need to beat the floor up some . Even a shall we say sanitary shop with that type of tile has some wear on it .......... Ed Shaver
  6. Craig, should we petition to have the old art be made into a "New box " release ? Ed Shaver
  7. An un opened package , uh about two years . An opened opened package , best , three mos . Ed Shaver
  8. Me , I would welcome both a re do of Revell's Corvette and a 62 Chevrolet P U . I know I'll have a diorama spot at least for the Corvette. Ed Shaver
  9. Ya know , this bus and the more modern Bus Revell did previously really excite me as i love "Differnt " off beat stuff. This subject in peticular has my interest . Ed Shaver
  10. Somebody PLEAZE DO SUM Humphry for 68 stickers !!!!!!!!!!! Ed Shaver
  11. The Revell 55-57 Chevrolets of the early 1960's are crude by todays standards . I say that as I can easily look at one of the real cars all too easily . Shoot, I used to think that Revell's 57 Nomad was the hottest ticket since an automatic brake holder on a shifter , ( HURST- LINE -LOK ) . Since then , Revell had the forethought to re- tool some of it's "Gimmicky" 1960's offerings . Hey, if I want opening quarter windows , opening trunks , opening hoods , doors, etc , I'll cut them open . There are tutorials here on M C M that are well written , well detailed , well edited and well done ................... Ed Shaver
  12. As a former Cab driver , I all too well understand ................ check yer messages too. Ed Shaver
  13. Virgil, usually I don't use the decals supplied in a kit . I generally build a stocker and seldom need race car sponsors or the usually not sized correctly licence plates . When decals wre supplied for an interior or a engine compartment , I will use them . if a car had graphic stripes for an exterior , I have been known to have used them . Outside of that, I give them away. Ed Shaver
  14. Fine job young man, keep up da good work. Ed Shaver
  15. Yep, I remember this uh er kit .............. I remember it so well , that I think it needs to stay where it began, in da PAST ! Ed Shaver
  16. How about a Gull Wing top instead ? Ed Shaver
  17. This topic has been done to death. The model companies will never learn , but here goes , AGAIN ! 1950 White C O E either a straight delivery or a combination 1939 Studebaker Coupe Express truck 1949 Hudson Pick up 1962 Dodge D-500 1963 Chevrolet C O E any combination Ed Shaver
  18. I would rather Revell spend their money on some other venture as opposed to another 32 Ford variant . The unique parts like wheels could be included within a "NEW " kit . Oh well, I guess I'll get hate mail over this one too .................. Ed Shaver
  19. If you "Google " solid rubber tires , over the years , several designs have been incoorperated into the sidewalls as roads in the early 20's were awful. A "Non " pneumatic tire would certainly be an advantage . However , the punisment transmited into the cab leaves me very unsure . Ed Shaver
  20. You know , it's funny, I have owned both a 79 and now a 78. I have unbuilt kits to do either one . I need to finish one now bein as I've seen ya'alls ! Nice builds . Ed Shaver
