Those actually scale out closer to around 26", and they're quite wide. You may need to narrow the chassis and/or the rim to get them to fit right.

Put in my preorder. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221098780080?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 And yes, the Phantom is available through Ebay sellers. I can't speak for LHS though as mine doesn't get any of the new releases anyway.

Wal-mart has models again...
JamesW replied to model-collector's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I didn't find them at Meijer til they were picked clean. Managed to get the Revell 66 Impala though. I'm gonna make it a mission around Christmas to search the aisles. Here's the Lindberg police Charger. There's a few different versions. -

I do see a LOT of duplicates, which is nice, plus a LOT of new releases. While the Model Cave carries a lot of OOP and rare HTF kits, I would like to see a better selection of recent issues. They are a Revell preferred partner, so that's nice. -

Wish I had somewhere in town that carried that kinda selection. Even the shop I go to (once amonth) an hour away doesn't THAT much. -
I've bought a few things, and will DEFINATLY be buying more. Shipping is fast too, although it DOES help that we're only about an hour or so apart. LOL

Question about emodelcars
JamesW replied to JamesW's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm a registered seller, but Ebay's rules are you have to have a certain amount of positive feedback AS a seller before they don't hold the funds. However, it turns out I don't need to sell the kits after all, as I had a VERY good night at work, and I still have 2 more days to work before the bill I owe is due. -

Question about emodelcars
JamesW replied to JamesW's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm still not an established seller on Ebay, so they hold the funds for 21 days, or until they can verify delivery or I receive positive feedback. I can transfer the funds to my bank account, which would be completed by Monday if I transfered the money today. The problem with craigslist is there have been kits listed on there before and it took weeks to sell any of them. I'm just not in a modelers area. -
Question about emodelcars
JamesW replied to JamesW's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Right, but I've got some "rare" kits that might move quickly. I guess I should elaborate and say that what I mean by quick cash is I have a couple bills to pay and due to having to buy a new tire for my 1:1 yesterday I'm short that much money. If I have to wait the 21 days for paypal to release my funds that bill will be late and will result in SERIOUS action. I didn't mean that I would take the money and run, as I'm sure that's what that may have sounded like. -
When a payment is made by Paypal, do the funds get held until the item has been verified as delivered or positive feedback has been recieved (like Ebay)? I only ask because I'm in need of some quick cash and don't want to go the Ebay route for that reason.

Is it a FULL engine, or is it molded into the engine bay/chassis like the wrecker?

You can get MAS stuff from Rick at ScaleDreams. If he doesn't have what you're looking for, he can get it.

Hmm, guess I'll take a trip to Adrian next week to the Hobby Lobby down there and see what they got.

Who else has this problem
JamesW replied to mnwildpunk's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I actually misplaced 2 colletts for my dremel. 2 of the EXACT SAME ONE'S. The only one's I NEEDED and couldn't find them. Had to buy a new one. Funny thing is, I have a case I keep all my dremel stuff in, and they still managed to run away. -
Just got back from Model Cave, was in Ann Arbor anyway, figured I'd stop. Now that I got some BMF, maybe I can finish up the 64 Caddy. My daughter wanted the Dakota, wouldn't leave without it. LOL

Get yourself some of the lids from Kool-Aid canisters(Country Time Lemonade, coffee canister etc.) Set your parts in those. Less of a chance of them rolling off your bench.
