Welcome back LOBBS. Try not to get too upset about what the kids do. Ive been through this. My son, who post on here as Willy survive, Used to destroy my models as fast as I could build them. Now he has two babies of his own and I WILL GET MY REVENGE!!!! But seriously, If they take an interest in the hobby, Show them the ropes and maybe you will end up with another great builder like I did. I also have an 8 year old that is just getting into building. its pretty cool to show them how to do it. Ed

The story of my one armed build: Several months ago I was injured at work and had to have surgery to re-attach my right bicep tendon. After being off work for a couple of weeks I began to get bored. I went into my stash and found this kit. I had won it years ago as door prize at a show. It wasnt something that I was really interested in building, so if I messed it up I really didnt care. After building the engine, Chassis, And the interior, I couldnt decide on a body color. I couldnt drive so I was limited to the supplies that I had on hand.After some thought I came up with the idea to make it a D.A.R.E. style police car/Paddy wagon. All of the police parts and decals came from the parts box. The paint is really old Testors enamel rattle cans that I found in my garage. It took a while but I think it turned out pretty good for a one handed build. Thanks for looking and as always comments welcome. Ed

Thanks Bob. I looked at the pics and I think I may try that Impala. I need to clear up some other projects first to make room on the bench. Ill post pics when I start. Your 63 Galaxie is beautiful. The paint is unbelievable, and the work you did on that chassis is outstanding. If I can make mine look half thet good, Ill be happy.Nice work. Ed
