Ive built this car, You cannot install the belts until the body is installed due to the molded-in inner fenders. Its a little tricky but it can be done. Put the fan, The belts, The alternator, Etc. all together and carefully install it as one piece. Then install the radiator, The shroud and the hoses. Im pretty sure thats how I did mine. Hope this helps. Ed

The refrigeration thing seems to help. Ive been doing that for about 4 or 5 years. The only problem Ive ever had with BMF was on a new sheet fresh from my LHS. It had cracks all over it. I returned it and they replaced it without a problem. Now I open it up and look at it before I buy it. I keep it in the basement fridge in a gallon size Ziplock bag and have had no further problems. This is an EBAY glue bomb that arrived here with the body broken into 5 pieces. Im trying to save it. I got the body back together and I think its ready for paint, But this plastic is really brittle. Usually they are molded into the red plastic tail light lenses or the chrome bumpers. Ive always just painted them white but they just dont look right. Is there a better way to make them look more realistic? Thanks in advance, ED
