  2. Those are looking awesome.. ....Love the extended cab in the background as well....
  3. Started on this last weekend...Impala SS ProStreet. Going to be a mild build with a healthy bigblock/4 spd......Gotta love these old "Boats"..... .....took minimal work to make room for the Mickey Thompsons to fit inside the wheel wells....Running on skinny/widened rally wheels..Paint color hasn't been established yet...
  4. Absolutely beautiful.......This car is definitely a work of art..!..
  5. Very nice....Loving this build..!
  6. Truck is lookin' great!----------- You have a nice color color scheme goin' on with the truck, and I can't wait to see more of it.................
  7. The hood that's on the car is the stock one molded in..........I do have a resin 442 ram-air hood that I was gonna put on it, but I want to use it on another Cutlass project I have planned.....I bought the resin hood off of *bay about 2 yrs ago...
  8. Thanks for the comments guys.........Just a couple of updates... ........Started working on a different motor...(Gonna save the Big Block Olds for another Cutlass project)....Found some beads at HobbyLobby that I'm using for my "fittings"....they seem to work pretty well. Also had to go with a different wheel choice seeing as how the cat snuck off with one of my other front rims..... ....Went with some fat/skinny Cragars....Trying to get a little done here and there.........hope to get the motor plumbed and wired by this weekend................
  9. Major props to you------------ You are doing a great job on these builds......I can't wait to see more of the "beat-up" Christine.......
  10. Glad you found some time to work on your project....Looks like you have a great start on your build...... .....are you gonna have 'er layin frame or ? Keep us updated!
  11. Nice technique.......... .......The techniques on the body lines is another great one as well.....it really brings out the body lines, and makes the panels look "seperate".......Will definitely be watching the buildup on these bad-boys......
  12. Beautiful Nova!---------- ............The detail and quality of this build is AMAZING....Your hard work really shines on this one-----
  13. Your builds are truly a "work of art"................. ..........I've looked at each one you have posted, and the craftsmanship simply amazes me.......Can't wait to see more..............
  14. The Willys is lookin' beautiful.................... ..........Love the consistent use of the green/black color combo throughout the build.....................Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Nice---------- Love the body mods to the front...................and ya better get some wheelie bars on there, or I'm afraid it's gonna go up and over with all that horsepower......
  16. I love what you did.............. If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the "HotWheels" diecast cars that they came out with a few years ago...(1/16 scale?).......I have one stashed somewhere, but it definitely doesn't look like this!!!------------You did a great job of detailing the car out....It looks SWEET!!
  17. Nice collection of builds---------------- .....I really like that '72 Chevy, and that lil' black CJ jeep........I'm into the 4x4 thing as well.............Been grabbing some of the older MPC 4x4 kits from time to time.....One of my favorites has to be the 1/20 scale 70's Ford 4x4 van called "HighJacker"....Also came across the "Super-Dualie" kit..."ThundersTruck"...etc. etc...........I have an old Revell 1/16 Chevy stepside 4x4 kit that I'd really like to fabricate aluminum suspension parts and stuff for, but that's been on the "to-do" list for a few years...... .........
  18. I definitely love this build........................ ...........After seeing how great it's turning out, it makes you wonder why they never did anything similiar with a 1:1 back in the day....................
  19. That looks like a serious "road-rage" contender....... ..........Good Job!!!!!!!!
  20. Nicely done!---------- Thanks for the great pics, they will definitely be a great reference point for my build........
  21. Love it!!!!!!!!----------- You really did a great job fabricating what you needed to get this one finished.......I hope they bring all of these "oldies but goodies" back someday...............
  22. NICE!------------ That truck is gonna have some serious attitude with a stance like that........Looks great!.......What kit did those rims come out of??? They remind me of the 1:1 Intro Wheels.......
  23. Simply love it----------------- One of my favorite "combo" builds that I've seen................Doing a great job!!!!!!!!
  24. Look'n great!------------- I like the long step-side.....Not too fond of them on the 1:1's, but your project looks great with it.....Nice color combo as well------
  25. Thanks guys... ....I appreciate the comments! Hey Rudy, do you have any more pics of Keiths Olds? That thing is WICKED! Anyways, I shot some color on the body today....went with DupliColor Autumn Maple Metallic over the dark gray duplicolor primer.......I'll let the paint cure out for a few days, and then I'll shoot a couple of coats of clear on it and polish it out....... Now on the wheels, should I paint the centers a gold color, or more of a gray/steel color? I'm still undecided on the amount of decals that should go on the body....I want to keep it clean/simple, but leaving it plain is not an option. I also ordered the resin blown big-block olds motor today...( )...and will probably get started on that next week. Once again, thanks for your comments/suggestions, and I should have the chassis/interior done this weekend.------------------------Ed
