I absolutely second that Rom. Fantastic work Dave, I love it. Mark

@ Rom : Thank you very much for the great explanation. This sure helps out a lot. @ Bart : Thanks for the pic. This gives a total new point of view to things. @ Dave : Thanks for the pic and explanation about the "real" materials used. This is awesome for me, I'm learning very much here. Now I need to get me some time and start getting the materials for a proper build. Mark

Rom, would you mind sharing the measurements (and size of the brass square tube) for the frame and drill-size of the holes ? What are you using for rivets ? Are there any good sites to visit for the right measurements ? I know, quite a few questions but I'm trying to learn as much as possible from this build3 I just love the way you approach these things. Keep it coming, I can hardly wait to see more... Mark

I'll be following this one Dave. I really like your builds and pic's. Love the amount of detail and eye for it you put in your builds. Keep the updates coming... Mark -
Thanks for the answer on the belt Derrick. The blue straps look better than the black ones. I love the whole of the engine, can't wait to see it fittedbetween the frame rails. Mark

Derrick, can I ask what material you used to make the drivebelt in front of the engine ? The belts on the blower apear small tie raps ? Thanks for answering. Mark P.S. I love the build. It's outstanding work and a great eye for detail.

As so many before me, I just can't find words to describe this build. I feel that there is no field that has been left out, to go wild on detailing. Only thing that comes to mind is : take my hat off (if I was wearing one) and make a deep bow. Incredible craftsmanship. Hope that I ever can obtain this level. Interceptor a.k.a. Mark

***Your opinion wanted***

It sure would be useful to us modelers if the model companies would post their photo's. Of course some of our (my) part of the fun is searching for all kinds of documentation on the subject I'm about to build. On the other hand it sure would save some "searching" time. Next question that comes to mind when following your point of view : Only customers or every modeler ? I personally feel that it should be free, but do the companies see it this way ? Or would the want us to pay again for using the photos ? Would this then in turn not have an influence on the price of the model? Of course if one buys a model they can include some sort of digit code to enter the companies picture database. Personally I say a very good plan. I'm all for it. Interceptor a.k.a. Mark -

I would have to agree with Brett here. In viewing your pic's, the 0.40 looks more real (to scale). My 2 cents. Mark -
How can one NOT enjoy this build ? Incredible building skills and such an eye for detail. I really take my hat off to this. Interceptor a.k.a. Mark
