fiberglass doesnt rust but the paint on it does flake and the parts themselves can get cracked so a good way to do it is to shoot a coat of primer then put some tiny salt on there and shoot the paint once the paint dries brush of the salt and it will look like the paint is chipped down to the primer

how do you make rust holes and dents

the best way to get holes and dent in 1:1 vehicles is to let the wife drive it so all you need to do is find a scale wife and let her drive it :> -
its all good

i used to have a badger 150 dual action then i got out of the hobby for a while and got rid of it now i have a paasch single action and to be honoust, i dont miss the dual action this paasche i have has a needle and tip combo that is less then an inch long and it is sooooooooomuch easyer to clean i think with my skill level this is all i need as for aircompressors, dont go to small or it will constantly be turning on and that annoying and make sure you invest the extra 12 dollars to install a water trap, you dont want to get moisture in the air when your spraying enamels

ad a little pin to the whole in the post above and your all set (you know, the pins the wifey uses when she sows and needs to hold the fabric together, they come in all sorts of different collored heads and also make great gearshifters )

diymirage replied to RJWood's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
mine was all true you just had to pay close attention and keep in mind that most european cans have the speedos in kilometers per hour rather then miles -
does a ford focus count as a import ? i mean, it looks like one underperforms out of the box like one and it appeals to the same crowd as one iether way, i dont have the drag tires on but i might be get in on this afterall (with a different car of course)

quoted from wiki... 1973 Gremlin X with Levi interiorFor 1973, AMC introduced bumpers able to withstand a 5-mile-per-hour (8 km/h) impact in the front and a 2.5-mile-per-hour (4 km/h) impact in the rear, to meet new U.S. government mandated safety regulations. Gremlins also received the option of a Levi's interior trim package, which included spun nylon upholstery made to look like denim (fire safety regulations prohibited the use of real cotton denim). Details included removable map pockets, burnished copper denim rivets, and red Levi's logo tabs. One notable and widely appreciated change was the increase in legroom in the rear seats. The X package received a new tape-striping pattern that emphasized the Gremlin's rear wheel flares by kicking up over the flare itself. Gremlin sales improved again to 122,844 units, nearly 30% more than 1972. A 1973 Gremlin purchased by Consumer Reports was top-rated in a group of six subcompact models tested for the June issue. That car had relatively few sample defects and proved reliable over a long-term test.
