  1. I have picked up a set of 1109's to replace the stock wheels. Thanks for looking check back soon I am starting to rechrome the body work. Hope to finish this up soon.
  2. Sadly it is not. However I have never had to try either. With it being a spray it goes down very even. It really gets into the coners well. With Elmers bottle glue my conners were always a little thin. Hope this helped.
  3. Update. First time to plumb anything past the distributor. It was fun to do. I may try it again if the mood strikes me like it did here.
  4. That thing looks so really I think I am getting Lock Jaw!!!! Looks great
  5. With those wheels you can not go wrong !!
  6. Thanks for the tips Drago. I will keep a fine eye out for those pesky mold lines in the future. To answer question about the flocking I use Elmers adhesive spray. I simple mask off what I do not wanted flocked then I spray it with the adhesive. Next I sprinkle on the flocking and spear it around so that all s cover. After that I start to press it into the adhesive. Lastly with a old worn out toothbrush I brush away the excess. I hop this helps if you would like for me to posta picture of the glue I can. Thanks again Thanks Cranky for the encouragement.
  7. Can someone please check my pulse!! I think I have just kicked the bucket. :o

  10. Pro Street Tire are from the Chevy Dually. Tamiya paints and a little bit of BMF. Was a quick and fun build. I had a few polishing problems were I tried a little to hard and burned through. O well.
  11. Paint is down! Champagne Gold Metallic is my new favorite color. The insert on the side is white if you are wondering. Still can not figure out the interior color for the life of me. Any idea on the color would be great.
  12. Got the body painted and worked on the surf rack. WHile working on it I thought why not try to scratch build a new exhaust so I have started and got to this point. If any one has any tips for this pass them along. Thanks
  13. Got some more done today. Added some PE battery cables and some parts box decals to give the engine bay some help.
  14. Here are some progress pics. Wheels and Tires Mix up of items here. Pegasus wheels on Pegasus tires and the fats are from the Chevy Dually kit. They really fill up the big wheel wells on these Jada kits. Some Engine detail before the rest goes on.
  15. I think I would have to agree with you. I think it needs a set 1109's. However all of the local shops do not carry them.
  16. Lindberg kit will be built mostly box stock. I will add a few extra things here and there. However my goal is a Simple and Clean lowrider nothing crazy. This will keep me busy for a while.
  17. Just for fun. I will post more pictures from the build later when I have more time to. I am quite happy with this kit.
  18. Here is a truck I am building for a for the year long build off. Scott II "Surfers Dream" It will get a "slight" lift to it but nothing crazy.
  19. About 90% done. Got the BMF, windows in, and the body/ interior put together. Also got the ride hight set to what I want. All that is left is to mount the front and the rear bumper. Is that low enough.
  20. I agree with you 100%. I love to build a low peice count kit or a snap tite just to break up the madness.
  21. Well I have finished polishing the body and I can not bend my right trigger finger. But I think the outcome is worth the pain. You tell me though.
  22. This has always been a favorite of mine. You truly make them all look so easy t build. Add another kit to the shopping list. Looks Great!!
