  1. Finally after Months on the Bench "MR BAD" is complete ,but not with out a lot of choice words ! Lots of Mods with as much plumbing as i could think of adding and heaps of Machined Parts all came together in the end to turn out a sweet little chopper and I even won the Bikes Category at a recent NNL here in Oz. Handle bars are scratchbuilt ,the tank and rear fender have been modified .There's over 40 machined parts including the wheels (machined by a fellow modelling buddy)and all other parts where made by myself . Machined hand grips and gas cap Machined valve stem Pulley Drives are also Machined with electrical tape belts, linkage is scratchbuilt ,machined oil tank and braided oil lines added rear brake is from a tamiya Ducati The Scull tail light/number plate holder is the kit air cleaner with tamiya putty molded to resemble a full Scull and the eyes are tamiya clear red .The number plate I printed on photo paper and stuck that to aluminium and added PE Screws. Carby is from a tamiya kit which is detailed with throtle cable/linkage and spring, aircleaner is a Detail master Velocity stack with tamiya mesh insert Comments and Questions are Welcome.................Thanks for looking!

  14. Just a quick update: I've been looking for something special to use for an aircleaner that would suit the theme and came up with a shell casing! but as i needed something fairly small i Machined this one on my lathe today. it should tarnish up fairly well and blend in with the rest of the project.
  15. That's gunna be a wild ride when its finished  !!!!!!
  16. Thanks for the comments Guys! ive still got a bit of weathering to do and the wheels and tyres are on the list. The tray is getting some rusty steel checker plate along with jerry cans and various stuff! Cheers Paul
  17. Here's some current pics I've installed the engine and just need to finish the radiator hoses and carby's (including fuel lines and linkage)and finish plumbing the coil etc. Also visible is the Mexican blanket i made and some duct tape holding the seat together. as you can see the headers turned out better than i expected I made a wiring loom up with wiring and cut some thin strips of electrical tape to cover the loom and left a bit loose at the end as common in 1:1 tape. Any comments or suggestions are welcome (positive prefered )
  18. The wheels are from the Revell Modified Racer & Trailer combo.Kit Number 85-4150. Cheers Paul
  19. Thanks for the comments guys , the rust on the headers is a 3 part rust system i got from the hardware store and it makes real rust! first step is a rust colored primer then iron paint (real iron particles)and then a rust activator. Yes they are bullet holes in the windscreen (from the 28 lincoln gangbusters kit)there are also bullet holes in the doors and other side of the cab. It will also have a hand grenade shift knob and other Army style details including a battle helmet and military colored mexican blanket (thanks to Ken Hamiltons How To)on the front seat!I will post more pics on the weekend as i progress. Cheers Paul
