  2. Thanx to Zuk this build should be back on the bench some time this month, thanx man YOU ROCK,.
  3. A wedge chop would be KILLER (pun Intended) I have a picture of a hearse with a wedge chop, I'll put it on here for you, so you will have some kinda idea about it, yea I know not the same year, and yours is more rounded at the rear. so it wouldn't look so much like a dart, You used the Revell Caddy lowrider frame? I just so happen to have one of those, have to check your pic's again to see where you cut yours... Total BUMMER! I cant find the frame, FREAKING CAT!!!!, but now you got me searching all my frames for cutting, THANX that is a kiiler idea, cides who' said it had to be a caddy frame, YOU ROCK MAN, you pretty much got me unstuck...
  4. OH I see I'm not the only one with a parts wall, ( part of the wall with a parts box on the floor ) nice work man, it looks sharp...
  5. Yea I did the same with mine but chopped it, it's called Reapers Ride, it's on this forum somewhere, now I'm stuck cuz I need a '59 caddy parts car, and you stretched out a frame, that my friend is a great idea, anyway, this is looking to be a sharp Lil ol'casket carrier, gonna have to keep my eye on this, keep up the good work, and keep posting so's I knows how to save mine ...
  6. I gotta get me somethin like that, sure dont need anymore coffie now......
  7. I'm with Raul, I've been thinking about it all day, as if it were me building this kickn truck, I'd would go with the tilt brother, my 2 cent vote.....
  8. Looks like this will be a kewl build, keep us posted...
  9. OH I see how it is bro, you just blasted, a killer kolor on this slick truck, an your gonna go with grafics, Gonna have to stay on my game with Huall'n C-3500 now for sure, now I dont know if I wanna paint it Teal metalic, great kolor
  10. There you go, now I can see a lil better, good job, now we work on making your picture's a lil clearer, what are you taking pictures with? I see now it's a 4x4, are you going to stay with that?, and it look's like a big block to boot, nice work, keep it going it really does look like you have your work cut out for you, but its looking good
  11. Like brother Plumnuts said, check out how to post your pictures, cuz I myself would like to see this one a lil better, BUT from what I can see it looks like you got a darn good start, and like I said, I would like to see better picture's, of your progress, keep up the good work....
  12. Like the whole thing, you said you try'd well you did a really nice job for trying, great job....
  13. pretty darn kewl man....
  14. OK got this crazy idea to add long side pipe's to this, now I know the pipe's are a Lil rough, but I'm trying to get the illusion of it looking lower with the front bumper, so tell me, pipe's or no pipe's
  15. Looking good man nice work on getting the rear out of it...
  16. Hi Kyle, There are a number of things you could do to make our builds more real, wire the distibutor, flocking, but the thing I would do is look at the real car, take picture's, just to name a few, things, take a long look at the tutoral section here, I have a tutorial on making a scratch built dist' with wireing and how to make scratch headers, Its on another forum, if you want to check it out, Its kustomcarz.proboards104.com, just slide down to Tips n Tech, click on How to Question, and you will see Wire'd distributors 1 & 2 and hot headers tutorial, section and have at it. OH and welcome to MCM...
  17. I know this may be a Lil late, but another good thing to use to make tub's is prescription bottles, cut the puppy in half, and as long as you need it to be, or wide as you need it, then file sand and attach with super glue, make sure to get the right size bottle, to fit the tire...
  18. I'd have to say brother that chop IS THE TICKET, it looks fantastic with the way the truck sits, and it looks to blend it all together, keeping with the flow of the lines of the truck, not to aggressive, but just enough that you would have to take a double look, I myself have been thinking of a chop on the Huall'n C-3500, nothing to drastic but enought to fit the stance, anyway keep it going brother, I like you am keeping a close eye on the build, GREAT WORK. And by the way, thanks for sharing the chop, I for one now know of another way to chop, and keep my rear window thanks...
  19. Yea I see that now, theres a few more mods I have plan'd, for her, her kolor will be Teal Metallic, and White, I lowerd her as far as I could, like I said the frame in the front is so low now, I would have to shave the frame, to get it lower, but I do agree it's on the money, as she sits now, thank's for the straight shot...
  20. MAN!, what is this, build a really kool truck month? this is looking way kool man it really is, yea I just cought the thread, always late I am, keep us posted and I'm so gonna look to see that hood trick, I gotta learn it, keep it up....
  21. Like'n the chally bro, it's looking like it's gonna happen, and talk about a clean up, man I should get a book shelf, then maybe I can stop stepping on the cat
  22. OK been work'n plastic, I had an issue about the stance, well I think, I cant go no lower in the front, even went with a smaller front tire, Why Mr Unforgiven? the frame is now to the ground, so to speak, I almost have her all smooooooooth'd out, needs a few spots, but here in the next day or so, I'll post her in all primer, now I cant take her any lower in the rear without taking the fenders and moving them up higher on the outside, but I think she looks kinda wicked the way she sits now, cept for the mirrors, man they look like mickey mouse ears on this thing, well here are a few pic's, and please feel free to give your opinion, I would really like to hear it...
  23. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think there all AWESOME, but hehehehehehe I love the wagon man, hope to see some more of your builds.
  24. Hope it wasnt like my comp, I cracked a 600.00 micro chip last week, so I'm now on another 300.00 laptop, with payments, how you crack a micro chip I have now clue, I think they were just being nice and not telling me I blew that Dell up, then spent 3 days getting this Hp to perform as well as my Dell did, good luck on your comp'.
  25. If I don't go go curbside, I was thinking of a blown 421 Pontiac, (hay bro nice to see some product. the back wheels on this, are thay wide mickys or doulie? and have you thought about a body drop for the stance issue you were talking about? later bro I'll keep eyes on this one ) . PLUMNUTS, There believe it or not goodyear's 5/8" wides and they fit nice, and I'm thinking of a body drop too, I want this girl way deep in the weeds, but I don't think I'll get her there, without cutting and relocating the out side fenders, moving them closer to the top of the bed, dunno... (I liked this model subject so much I bought several of these kits and then started different chop schemes for different cab/bed combos and even a dually blazer body. All of which are WIPs as well. I didn't realize how many of these I had bought (about 6 kits) until recently. Strangely, I configured all the body types for different builds and never considered doing the out-of-box body type. Looks like I may have to buy another one. Coming along nicely. Can't wait to see what you do to finish it.) FORDH8R, I'm so digging this kit man, wish I'd got like 6 of them myself, all kinda ideas, are just flooding my lil brain, and I got to see some more of your avatar, I like it alot. I'm busting my butt on this one tho....
