  1. Thanx man, ummmmm the windows, well she had a falling out with a guy on pain pills with a loaded dremel, and I had to well put her back in the box, but I will get her back on the bench soon, thats why I'm gonna watch this real close, maybe your build will inspire me to bring her back to the bench, and by the way crazy about the topless look, great work...
  2. Thats the sad part Fordh8r, I dont build rod'z, or havent, yet, so I know I dont have any in the parts box, the 2 I did have I traded off, I would ask on here, but alot of people do build rod'z so, but I will get something sooner or later, but like you implied, it would set it whare it needs to be, the finishing touch.....
  3. Man I totaly agree, I think some rod mirror's, would put it right whare it needs to be, but the bummer part of it is I dont have any, sept off my '49 merc. and I plan in useing them once I get it back on the shelf....
  4. Your welcome bro, I just had to give you that shot of the tail lights, and never worry brother, I will always keep an eye for what ever you build, like I said, wish I had like 6 more of these, yea the pipes would of looked good but only if I could of chromed them, I have the spaz chroming set up, but no lacquer thinner, so it will sit till i get tired of hearing it scream at me, to put a blown 454 BBC in it,
  5. AHHHHH, from what you got done so far, looks like you got a pretty good start, I got one of these on here too, somwhare, under Crystal Blue, keep up the good work...
  6. Thanx, yea the wheels came with the kit, but it didn't have any tire's, so the rear's were riped from a '69 Ford Falcon Modified, then sanded to make them even, because they were higher along the edge's then the middle. By the way if anyone has the '69 Falcon modified kit, you may be disapointed, the fit to the whole kit, is well ######, but it's got a set of killer fattys. Thanx everyone, I had a blast with this lil kit, wish I had about 6 more of'em, OH yea, may be snapfast, but you get the chance to grab a few, do it, not alot of options, well none really, but once you start on this lil kit, ideas will hit you like bricks, and it would be kinda easy to turn this from curbside, to street side, it's fast and simple really, and you see what you can turn it into, so get a chance to grab up 2 or 6 do it....
  7. Duplicolor Teal Matallic Clear, from Autozone, well thats what the can say's, small can about 5 bucks, and man does it lay great...
  8. YEPPERZ, got her done, woo woo, and Yea it only took less then a month, of sanding, filling, and more sanding, and more filling, and primer, six coats, of paint, one redo on the cab, 3 coats of clear, and more sanding, whaa, whaa, whaa, and digging thru the parts box for some really wide tires for the rear, but here she is ready to hit the curb(side) that is, and OK there's a lot of pic's but I like to show my work, and Yea most people could of done a snapfast in, what? a few days, but I'm so not like most people, and here's a box shot, what like I was supposed to do it like they say , NOT. Hope you guys like her, if not oh well ... SOME OUTSIDE SHOTS TOO AND PLUMNUTS, this one's for you
  9. ATENTION, ATENTION, testing 1 2 3 testing, oh wait thats not here, hmmmmph, look in under glass, hehehehehehehehe.

  11. Yea I've almost sent Reaper Ride to the parts wall more'n once, and I'll get to it again, Your's is looking really good, I saw Customhears's now I wanna do a tilt frond end, and now I see you've opend the back door of your's now I wanna do a opening rear door, thanx, for sharing this build, keep up the work, it will be worth it in the end....
  12. Perrrrty slick. and it looks good on there too, a job well done there Plum, guess we will see it it in under glass next????
  13. OK guy's here's just a few teaser pic's for you, still working on the taillight's, should of molded the grill in with the body, and I'm thinking the interior needs to be black also, See nuthin too special, I wish I had some of thos rod mirror's now, just a plain jane, but that interior has to change, that much I know. Showrod, I've since done the rear, when those pic's were takin. yea the interior is changing, maybe body kolor and black, or just black, who knows, but I gotta change it...
  14. OK brother your gonna hate me for this, and yes I understand this is not my build, but I'm so not feeling that single bar tail light, that so doesn't fit the build, going split I would say, would be the ticket, how you do the split, will also be a telling sign to the kind of build, think of these thing's when you go to split it, ONE it has hidden headlight's, TWO it's chop'd, THREE, you got a wild tilt, so you kinda have a mild kustom look already, and you should match all that with the tail lights, when you split them. Yes Bro I did the same thing with the Huall'n C-3500, I was gonna go single bar taillights but It wouldnt fit the build, and I really dont like how I split them, but it was the only thing I could come up with, to fit the build, and yea I'm sure If I thought about it more I would of done better. OK now I will go back to my corner, and eat my cookies, alone, OH AND BY THE WAY AWESOME TRUCK, VERY SLICK
  15. That frame came out just so awesome, but of course I'm watching, and hearing mine scream at me as the dust settles ever more deeply, found my caddy frame, just got to find the rest of the stuff, but I'm a watchin this build real close, and it's looking great so far
  16. I had a great expeince in trading with this gentlman, and the shipping to to Canada was not bad at all

  17. I surfed TCP Global and acording to them they got HOK pearl kits for like 66 bucks two base coat, and 10 pearls in the 2oz bottels, and 4oz bottels and they cary a whole line of HOK brand paint, and a bunch of bulk kits like the pearl set up, NOW unless there just wanting me to order and then hope thier supplier comes thru, I dunno...
  18. Way tight man, Luv how you did the back window, given me ideas...
  19. Hahahaha, I'm right with you, I layed the first few coats, and yea the truck is huge in just this kolor, so I'm gonna lay the bed cover with some texture then satin black, should have a few pic's in the next few days of the bed, and cab done. Guess I should say It will be in under glass, in a few days.... (I hope)
  20. Yea it looks like you got your work cut out for yourself, keep at it...
  21. Well bro I got this Killer Teal Metallic, and you know what its sorta an off blue, but I gotta say that was one good guess, brother, well here is the kolor it's gonna be, I was thinking of going this kolor and white, but I dont think I'm gonna now, becouse the bed cover will be either black, or the same kolor, I may go black and this Teal, who knows????? OUTSIDE SHOT, one coat of duplacolor enamel clear. INSIDE SHOT, still one shot of clear
  22. Here's a question for you, instead of scratching the piece you cut out of the frame, do you think it would be possable to use a cut out section of the frame of the kit? I know try it and find out, but it was on my mind as I dont have all the plastic to scratch build a section, ah well anyway this is starting to take shape, and I'm watching, 100%...
  23. Well Bro the kit actuall came to me open, and didnt have tire's, the wheels or rims if you like came in the kit, and there really aint much to the kit, It's an AMT snap fast plus one C-3500 Street machine, if that give's you any help on getting the kit. As for the taillights I had an old taillight from a chopd up Deora kit, that I cut into quarters, and file'd, then cut the bumper so the lights would fit, I still have to get the fit, just so, so...
  24. NOW THATS. Wild
  25. OK seeing how no one is looking at the last update, I'll go ahead and sneak in some more update pic's I've smooooothd her out all my talent will allow, and the long pipe's gave me a stance I'm proud of, yep she's juuuust about ready for her first coat of Teal Metallic, tho I still have issues about the mirror mounts, one suggestion was to cut them out, who knows?,Yea I know there's a couple extra shot's, just showing the truck in different lighting
