Hay Ron what did you use to put the edge around the side windows, the trim I guess it's call'd? and I like the way you'rs turnd out, See now if the people who look'd at this would of said some thing about the blue not working for this, maybe I coulda saved myself alot of work, mixing 3 shades of blue and then, oh well, till I get my set of pearls, then maybe to the dip tank this will go, I'll chok this one up to shoulda, coulda, and woulda, maybe not I found 2 spot's on the body that DOH! didnt fill in, so we will see. Thanks for the input guy's it's what I was after all along, dont hurt my feelings none to be told it dont look right, thats why I post it as a wip, and I take all feedback in stride, good or bad, even idea's are welcome, and just becouse I dont use somebody's idea now dont mean I wont use it on future build's, so If there's something you see then go ahead say something, I'm not gonna quite building model's just becouse one or two turn people to the toilet, and hay I'll be be the first one to say something about some one else's build ask Evilone, If I see something wrong I'll say something and I should expect the same in return, and I do...

Thanks Plumnuts, for reminding me to take some of my own advice, and put it to good use, so many people have look'd at this build but no one can say anything, thanks for being with me on this build, and to every one who voiced thier opinion's and comments, it will go to under glass next, I hope, or the part's box

GOTH KUSTOMS replied to tuffone20's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Oh wow, nice job, Im not much into rat rod's but I think I would go that way, but then again, a full on kustom would be hot too, any whitch way you go it will be kewl I'm sure... -
OK here is a better picture of this build, not really what I was looking for, but, still gotta wet sand, and clear coat, gotta get the spoons out, got an experament, something. and try to fix just the bad part of the hood, you know, peel, prime, and paint .
-
OK I add'd some kolor to this Grocery Getter, yeah OK i did it backwards, light kolor first then dark, but I can blame it on pain med's dont know if you will be able to tell from the picture's but? and as soon as I colm down and let this dry some I'll post a better mock up for you guy's, here in a few Im gonna splash some white just across the very nose of this thing, and if that dont work the dip tank is standing bie... Now the calm douwn part of this, is this when good hood's go bad, now I waited for the dark blue to dry at least 30 min' and the blue I wont be able to match, why? you ask will it was mix'd in a bottle all 3 shade's of it, so you know the mix will not come out the same, anyway this was the only place this happend, And as you can see I like to share my screw up's with all of you, even that can be funn cya....

That tilt, man is out of the box , sweet, told you I would be watching this build, and didnt expect that tilt, awsome job so far. Yeah I know how you feel when it's hit the wall part's box, or walk away I've felt that way a few time's on my Dually Deora build, and on the Grocery Getter, yeah really only a few time's, Its better to walk away, set it aside and work on another build, like this paint issue I'm haveing with the Grocery Getter, I'll look at it for a few days and then it will come to me. So go ahead take you're time, walk away from it if you have too, there's no one saying when its got to be done, and you dont want to burn out on it, cuz then it might end up back in the box....
-
Like whare you're going with this, nice job keep us posted, Like the kolor of the engine too..
-
I totally agree with you Plum, I dont know what it is but there's something missing about the paint, graphic's would'nt do it, It's something else, well I'll give it a few day's of looking at it, I'm still gonna lay the transparent red apple over the blue, but I do agree...
-
verry sweet job there friend...
-
OK now kid's dont do this at home, leave it to us profesionals, hahahahaha, here today I spray'd three shade's of blue on her while on pain med's, now If you can see the three shade's well you're doing better then me, sooooooo I will call this the first coat of blue. No not what I was looking for, but it's what I wound up with so far. But in the picture's it really dont look that bad, kinda like a plain gum wrapper stuck to you're shoe, hahahahahahaha well anyway here are some not so surprizing picture's Guess I shoulda went with my first choice of silver base, and cobolt Blue....

Tower Hobbies-Price changes..
GOTH KUSTOMS replied to RyanSilva's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thats why I go to place's like DiscountPlasticModels.come, get a grab bag of six models for 45 bucks, thats with shipping, averages out to about 7.58 a model, all 1:24/5 scale, all new kit's, like suv's, car's, truck's, just a grab bag that they pick out, and if you dont like what you get, then you trade, or ebay them, I'm sure the price will go up but till then I'm happy.... -
Keep'em coming, I'm watching this all over the place...

I like'd the kolor of the Impala so much, went out and bought a thing of the same kolor paint at autozone today, 6.99, what a deal, dont know what I'm gonna paint but I got it in the paint stash, oh yeah also bought the clear, in Dupli, and Krylon, Hay Evil when you spray'd the Dupli clear did it fog up on you? and did you have to kinda buff it out? maybe I got diffrent stuff I got the Duplicolor high gloss clear Acrylic Enamel, any way I tested it on some spoons and it fog'd up on me and it's really not as glossy as the Krylon I bought, just wondering And if you get chance, try Duplicolor, Electric Current Red, they sell it at autozone small can like 5 bucks. and the Burgandy Pearl Metallic, aint so bad either, kinda a Cherry metallic, gotta '63 ford I'm paintin that kolor this weekend, WOOO WOOO Autozone here I come again...
