  1. OK, I found it!.....This is the one: Simón Rivera
  2. Well, I remember to get in yahoo Japan like 10 years ago a R100 in 1/24. It was a 4 door model but, it could be easy to convert it into a 2 door car. The price, as expected, very high, around $125 and whe I saw it I wouldn't pay even $10, but, it was an R100. I bouth this model car for a friend that still have it and as far as I know, he can sell it. Simón P. Rivera Torres
  3. Yes, that's the correct spelling, the only thing is.. , that the nickname has to be divided, like this, mad slammer! Contact him because since he's deep into the model cars here in Puerto Rico, will be able to contact you and to get a lot of pictures of rotary model cars in 1/24 due that they are extremly popular here. Good luck, my friend! Simón P. Rivera Torres

  5. It looks like your like your best fit will be to look for both BBR and Tameo kits. In the past week I did a searche in the Tameo page for retaliers in UK, US, Germay, Italy, and Canada and I got the best prices with a store in UK. For BBR, you can take a look in their webpage for shops and also on Ebay. 1/43 kits are ones that when you get it, you won't look back to 1/24 for anything. I hope this help you a lot better. Good luck Simón P. Rivera Torres
  6. Resin, what kind of resin?...F1, road cars, sports car?...You should give a search to some makers like, Feeling 43, Tameo, BBR, Starter, Provence Moulage, Reinassance, etc and then you will get some interesting sites. You can check this site from a Japanese modeler who has real interesting stuff here: http://gdist43.com/ And this site from this Japanese Master Modeler who makes unbelivable model in 1/43: http://www.geocities.jp/dreamworks43modelcars/ Check where it says CAR MODELS and you will be impressed! 7. Hey Mark, I'll be starting something real interesting in the next months and if you make it next year, I will present it in the 2011 GSL. I had been looking through several 1/43 scale sites in Japan and the possibilities are unlimited, maybe over 1/24! Simón P. Rivera Torres
  8. Look for a modeler here named madslammer, he would be able to tell you all the information on this and other rotary models from here in Puerto Rico. Simón P. Rivera Torres

  10. Now I bring god news, take a look in this site were you guys will find the model for about $40 shipping included. This a very respectable, well stocked site where I been getting most of my stuff from Japanese companys and a very good price. http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=TA 24316 Simón P. Rivera Torres
  11. No, I don't think those companies will do the job Tamiya makes on theirs. I will wait to buy the Tamiya instead. Thanks for you advice anyway. Simón P. Rivera Torres
  12. Well, basically, what I liked to say was that I feel that, not this one, almost any new Tamiya modern model car that this company knows will hit deeply our modeling minds, they in no time, place an out of this world high price tag, like they did with cars like the Enzo, the Mercedes SLR, and now this one. Besides, like these are almost only the only ones with good detail in plastic and other features like Photo etch, they take advantage of us with this. I didn't say I won't buy it, specially now that I'm working with a classic Aston Martin, the DB4, and I had discovered this company has a lot of real 1:1 cars that should be release in model car form a way back, what I say is that for now, I found something around the $50 is too much for a plastic kit. Later, definelty, I will add it to my collection. Meanwhile, I will enjoy seeing the beautifull creations that all of you(like zoom zoom) do with this great model kits. Simón P. Rivera Torres
  13. I saw it...but, also,I saw the $50-$70 price tag I told before..for that amount, not thanks...with a couple of extra dollars, I can get a multimedia resin body model car...like the new Model Factory Hiro Porsche 917LH..actually with a couple, and couple, of extra dollars , but, at least is much more interesting that this Aston. I guess I will wait a couple of years untill I can find it in a swap meet or the price drop down. Simón P. Rivera Torres
  14. Niiiice!...Is good to see something different and refreshing. Simón P. Rivera Torres
