Looking Great John...Love the truck and rear end details!

I did this one for a monthly theme build a couple years ago. It won the theme night.....Its the MPC 69 Camaro convertible. I got it as close to the Hot Wheel as I could.....But didnt have any wheels in the part box that matched the How Wheel.... But it was a fun build and my first time using HOK paint and Automotive clear and using some P.E. detail also. Besides a little engine plumbing I opened the grill up and flocked the carpet. The rest is just out of the box.

I was building this one for a guy I worked with...and this was how he was doing it on his 1:1 truck along with a camaro front sub frame and suspension....I used the 78 Camaro and cut off the the front subframe also...worked out just like his 1:1 did

Chris....Here is how I lowered my 55 chevy pu in the rear. Shaved off the spring hangers from the frame flipped them upside down on the opposite frame rails then flipped the springs upside down and the left became the right and the right became the left.

I like #5 followed by #1 I think both work pretty well

Nice! I also like the rubber bits on the rear quarters and the battery charge posts and kill switch on the back.

Very cool review/history Thanks! I have the Stomper pick up (I also had a large collection of the little stomper battery powered cars & trucks) and I have the Hot Rod version of the model kits.

The kit builds into a nice finished model...I have built 3 of them....this is the only one I have left though...but they all turned out pretty nice I thought.

Also...I had the 1:1 air cleaner on my 70 Monte Carlo...Cool air cleaner...You have to give us the guys name when you remember it. I need a couple of them!
